Today was a great turnout!! Thank you to everyone who made it and that helped as well! Great times with great people! The events were a blast! Great job today to all the new faces our goal was to get that itch driven into some new talent! We hope to see new people out there next season for 2027! Again great job to all our racers for the 2026 season! And these next few racers who didn’t make it please reach out to me to get your plaques. Feel free to tag anyone’s name to get their attention to collect their awards!

Friendly reminder of the events/awards ceremony on this sunday the 29th! Events start at noon come early for riders meeting at 11:45 to go over the events! Remember you do not need to be a registered rider to participate! Come and enjoy the events and participate! Also reminder the partners race can only be one registered racer partnered with one non registered racer or it can be two non registered racers. Any bike size allowed or quad can participate. Bring what you got! Same goes for dads and moms race as well as kids obstacle course. Bring what you got! Moms and dads race has to be non registered riders who have not raced for the Alaska ice racers. There will be gift card awards for these events! I checked the ice today and ran a few laps and ice is still looking great!

Racers and fans! Race results for race 8 are in! Great job to all racers today and very happy to hear our little racer Brooklelyn McHone was ok with minor injuries! Ok racers I finished turn 1 and 2 today. Temps were 2° when I left so should be frozen by morning. turn 3 and 4 froze nicely last night. I will try to make it out there with Jaclyn Moore tomorrow sometime to open the track back up as I had her plow the entrance closed to keep vehicles out. Track should be open by Monday for practice at the latest. It’s not perfect but it is much better than what it has been. Thank you all for your patience!

Ok racers and fans! Results are in! Poll counts are done. Having a Drop race Yes-9 No-20 there will be no dropped races for the 2026 race season. Adding points races Yes-12 No-15. There will be no additional points makeup races added for the 2026 race season. That being said I AM going to be adding a mini games/bbq/ awards ceremony(if we can get the plaques on time) on march 29th starting at noon on our track! Waivers must be signed for all participants! Participants do not have to be registered racers to compete. The events will be: partners race(one racer teamed up with one non registered racer, 10 laps 2 laps each at a time by switching off the same bike) Moms who don’t race race 10 laps on the 85cc track, Fathers who don’t race race on the 85cc track. timed obstacle course and a hot dog/ burger cook off. Everyone please bring food and we could use a few bbqs as well as dedicated cookers as I will be busy hosting the event. Please feel free to comment on this post the foods you are willing to provide so we’re all on the same page and it’s a good turnout! Thank you everyone for your support and I’m looking foward to the remainder of the season.
