Congratulations to our graduating senior anglers, Tait Harahan and Billy Bilben, who graduated from Big Lake High School this past Friday!

We are incredibly proud of everything these young men have accomplished both in the classroom and on the water. Their dedication, sportsmanship, and commitment to our team have made a lasting impact, and we are excited to see what the future holds for them.

Thank you, Tait and Billy, for representing our team and community so well. As you prepare to fish your final season with us, we wish you the best of luck and look forward to cheering you on every step of the way. We know great things are ahead for both of you!

The first SATT event where Team of the Year (TOY) points were on the line is in the books!

This past weekend, five of our teams competed on Pools 4 & 5 of the Mississippi River against a field of 167 boats. Fishing conditions were challenging at times, but our anglers persevered and represented our team well, finishing in 20th, 52nd, 78th, 106th, and 123rd place.

We are incredibly proud of our student anglers for their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the event. These finishes put valuable TOY points on the board as we begin the race for Team of the Year standings.

A huge thank you goes out to our captains, parents, and volunteers who make opportunities like this possible. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our sponsors for your continued support of our program and these young anglers. Your contributions help provide valuable experiences both on and off the water.

Congratulations to all of our teams on a strong showing in the first TOY points event of the season. We’re excited to build on this momentum and look forward to the next tournament!

What a great way to kick off the season for the Big Lake Bass Team! 🎣

This past weekend at the SATT Regional Event on Lake Le Homme Dieu, our anglers showed up and represented Big Lake in a big way — placing 4 teams in the Top 12! 👏

🏆 Congratulations to Team Jarvi & Van Horrick for an outstanding 3rd place finish to start the season strong!

We also want to recognize all of our teams that battled tough competition and put together an incredible weekend on the water. Your hard work, preparation, and dedication are paying off!

Attention SATT anglers, parents, boat captains, and coaches:

We wanted to share an important update regarding event registration.

The Regional Day registration has been delayed, and the Mississippi event registration that was scheduled to open tomorrow (April 23rd) will also be postponed.

We are currently wrapping up final details with the Fishing Chaos app team to ensure everything is set up for a smooth and user-friendly experience. We’re excited about what this platform will bring and want to make sure it’s ready to go before launching.

✅ What’s coming soon:
• How to register through the Fishing Chaos app
• How to become a SATT member within the app
• A test event so you can explore and get comfortable using the platform

We’re aiming to have more details out by the end of the weekend.

We sincerely apologize for the delay and truly appreciate your patience. We can’t wait to get this into your hands and get the season rolling!
