Koyen was able to advance from 30th to 20th in the final, setting 10th fastest lap in the process. Ramsey lost a chain early in the race, ending his hopes immediately. Not the finished we wanted in both accounts, but at least Koyen made it to the checkered flag with no issues. Scott Kopp will roll off 32nd for his final.

Our final heat is done, and both drivers avoided incident this time. Both Koyen and Ramsey has reasonable pace, but the hour long delay from the previous class’s red flags meant our setup wasn’t ideal as conditions warmed up as we waited on grid. Still nice to avoid any wrecks and finish a clean race. The final will be another slog in traffic tomorrow.

Really difficult heats for our KA drivers. Koyen was caught up in first lap wrecks in both heats. Ramsey fared a bit better but still not where we want to be. Time for a big swing for the final heat tomorrow.

Boss man Scott Kopp puts in a respectable lap to go P17 in a very competitive X30 Masters qualifying. Data review gave us some good direction from both practices and we applied that to make positive changes and find 0.5 for this important session.

Bit of a rough quali for our drivers. Both featured in the top 10 early, but traffic and on-track incidents hampered later progress. Our early speed showed the karts are good, just need to tweak tire pressures and help keep the tires alive longer.

More rain for this morning’s practices, but our drivers found some things to help move them up the boards, taking turns going P3 in each session. Qualifying should be dry, so with no one having any dry running, it’s anyone’s guess where it’ll all shake out.

Morning sessions are done. Ramsey fared well, hovering around the top 10 in wet conditions. Koyen struggled a bit more, but made positive changes for the final session and got within 0.5 of the leaders as the track dried out, placing him P18 in the final session. Scott Kopp will take to the track now for the afternoon sessions, as the track continues to dry and slick tires look to be the tire of choice.
