Imagine a trail that’s cleaner at the finish than it was at the start. That’s HIGHLANDER.

We hike, we connect, we camp, and along the way, we take care of the places that host us. With support from and our , every step becomes part of a shared effort to protect Big Bear Lake.

Everyone carries out what they bring in and then some. When hundreds of hikers do that together, the impact adds up fast. Last time, it meant removing over 700 lbs of waste in a single event.

🤝 The Mission: Sawyer + One ATTA Time
Sawyer is the primary partner and technology sponsor of One ATTA Time, an incredible non-profit organization with a simple, powerful mission: to wipe out waterborne illnesses in children living in extreme poverty or disaster zones.

How do they do it? Through a brilliantly simple system:

The Bucket System: They take a standard 5-gallon bucket, drill a hole, and attach a Sawyer filter (using the same hollow-fiber technology you carry in your backpack).
