What a great first trip for the 2018 Lucky Bear Fishing season :) Christine Butler and Bob Anderson came out for rainbow trout fishing and eagle watching. They caught both!! Started off with sightings of Mama (Jackie) eagle and Stormy the juvenile eagle AND 3+lb rainbows hitting their lines. A wonderful to start our fishing season!

Nice stringer from late morning trip on 6/17/17. Three generations came out to fish and they took their fresh catch back to their cabin to enjoy. Wishing all dads a wonderful Father's Day. It's a great time to be fishing on Big Bear Lake!

15.50 pound Rainbow Trout caught on the afternoon of 6/20/16 by Christopher Vournas age 15 of Huntington Beach. This fish hit a Rapala about 25 minutes into the trip and Chris reeled his trophy size bow in like a pro and Captain Mike netted this monster with ease. We all gasped. This is an amazing catch while trolling on BBL. Captain John was happy to see this fish come back to the marina! We are thrilled for Chris and his friends who were on the lake with us on this beautiful day. We all had a blast. This is the largest fish caught on the Lucky Bear boat.

Second trip of the season not too bad either! Grandpa Richard brought his swell grandsons out for a wonderful mid day trip. They managed to get 75% of their hard fighting, great eating rainbow trout to the boat! Way to go boys- grandpa brought all the luck :)
