Hi everyone!
With Father’s Day weekend and several folks out of town, we’ll be switching this Saturday, June 20, to a fun sorting day instead.
The rodear class has been moved to Saturday, June 27, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone then!
Please let us know if you’ll be able to join us on June 27 so we can get a headcount

Saturday Night Under the Lights – Cattle Sorting + Rodear Basics
Kick off at 5:00 PM with Rodear intro and practice — perfect for anyone wanting to learn, improve, or get involved.
Full Rodear runs with 9+ riders, half Rodear if under 9.
Rodear class is FREE. Riders must pay a $25 cattle fee or join the cattle club — a great option if you plan to come out regularly.
Members only — Saturdays are dedicated to our members.
Membership forms will be available on-site for riders and non-riding supporters.
Snack bar will be open, so come hungry and stay for the evening.
Come be part of the crew, build your skills, and enjoy a fun night in the arena.

There was something truly special about those rodeo days in Big Bear—something only this mountain community could create, and something that will never be duplicated. Seeing these old photos of the Los Vaqueros arena takes us right back to a time filled with tradition, laughter, and unforgettable moments shared with friends, family, and neighbors.
These memories are part of what makes Big Bear so unique, and it means so much to have them preserved. A heartfelt thank you to Sandy Wares for sharing these incredible photos and keeping a piece of our local history alive for all of us to remember and cherish.

Good Morning Los Vaqueros Riders, Members, Sponsors, and everyone following our page.🤠🤠🤠
Our new year has begun, and we are very excited with what is in store this year for Los Vaqueros, and our events at the arena….
We had our first meeting with our new Board, and our club has some wonderful events, and fresh ideas for 2026. Looking forward to a new season.
If you would like to join Los Vaqueros please DM me and we will get you signed up. Our membership fees have gone up to $80 for the year. A great price for a year of use of the arena, camping, and the chance to participate in events, and clinics.
We are also looking for new sponsors for the 2026 season. Please contact me and I will answer any questions.
Los Vaqueros is definitely trying to keep the western traditions alive in Big Bear.
We are looking forward to seeing all of you at the arena, and our first event will be our Paul Dietz clinic in May. We are very excited to have him back.
