🏒 Elevate Your Game: 2026/27 Pre-Season Hockey Camp!

Get a head start on the upcoming season! Hosted by the Maine Wild, this pre-season camp is open to any player (8U–15U) looking to sharpen their skills, build conditioning, and get back into game shape before the puck drops on the 2026/27 season.

Camp Details
* Dates: August 10th – 13th, 2026
* Location: Biddeford Ice Arena
* Age Groups: 8U – 15U
* Cost: $500 (Covers all 4 days)

Players will participate in a high-intensity curriculum designed to maximize development both on and off the ice:
* 08:15 AM: Drop-off
* Daily Routine: Two on-ice sessions + two off-ice training blocks (Pack snacks and water!)
* Mid-Day: Lunch break (Please pack a bagged lunch!)
* 02:45 PM: Pick-up

This camp is the perfect environment for athletes of all programs looking to refine their fundamentals, improve their conditioning, and enter the 2026/27 season with a competitive edge. We emphasize quality repetitions, hockey IQ, and high-tempo training.

**UPDATE TO TSR JERSEY FITTING NIGHT**

Hi All,

We wanted to send a brief message that Jersey fitting night is scheduled With TSR Hockey. A Reminder, all will need to order their jerseys for the 2026/27 Season this year Through the TSR store. This will be open shortly following the fitting night. Below is the information:

When: Monday May 11th (Previously scheduled for May 4th)
Time: 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Where: Biddeford Arena Biddeford, ME
What to bring: Shoulder pads to get accurately sized for your jersey.

What if I can’t make it? Unfortunately this is the only sizing night. If you cannot make it that particular night, we recommend connecting with a teammate that may be similar in size so see what they went with. If you are new to the program and do not know anyone, I would make your best educated guess. It’s obviously better to be a little big than too small. We will send out an email following fitting night with links to online store.

Is it just jersey fitting? Although that is the only thing we require, TSR will have fittings for gloves, helmets, track suits, jackets, etc. So if you are planning on ordering any new gear or apparel from the team store, this is a great opportunity to make sure you get the sizing right. Our program DOES NOT require you to purchase any special helmets or team gloves like many organizations. If you want them though, they will be available for order.

🏒 Checking for Charity: Hockey Giving Back

Checking For Charity is a local organization born out of a love for hockey and a desire to give back. What started in 2017 as an idea by two South Portland firefighters has grown into a major community event, raising over $185,000 in its first eight years.

This is the largest annual fundraiser conducted by the South Portland Professional Firefighters. This year’s primary beneficiary is STRIVE, with a generous portion of the proceeds supporting their mission.

How to Support the Cause:
* Watch the Action: While this is an adult tournament, it’s a great event for families to attend as spectators. The event returns to Troubh Ice Arena on Sunday, March 29th, with doors opening at 10:30 AM.

* Silent Auction: They are currently accepting items or services for their auction. Please email [email protected] to contribute.
