Rebecca Dumont joins from Melrose, MA. She played for Melrose High School as well as New England Storm as both a Shortstop & Outfielder. Rebecca a Middlesex All Star her junior year of high school, will be studying Applied Exercise Science at UNE. ⚡️💙 Coach Letellier on Rebecca: Rebecca is a natural softball player who plays the game the right way. I knew from the first moment when I saw her play, her all out style along with speed and grit makes her the perfect player for our program. It will be a pure joy watching her grow over the next four years. @ University of New England

Turn back the calendar 8 years to find the day when senior Ashley Gott became the program career leader in hits, passing the 168 total of Katie Morin '08. She pushed the number all the way up to 201 by the end of the season, doing so in 511 at-bats for a .393 average over 158 games. ... Ashley also holds a share of the best career doubles mark on-record (41), and still has the highest tally of hits in a season (2011) at 68.

Hello to all our current/past & future members of the UNE Softball family!! As most of us know the 2020 Softball team had something taken away that I never thought would happen. After 7 weeks of hard work there season was cut short by the COVID-19 Virus that is effecting everyone in some way or another. They missed out on the chance to experience all the highs & lows of being a D-3 Student Athlete. They missed the chance to make a softball memory that would last a lifetime. So I'm reaching out to all of you to please post a picture or two of when you played Softball here at UNE, share a story with the picture and then tag 2-3 of your teammates and have them do the same!!! Let's use this tough time to reconnect!!!

I am truly saddened with the news that our Softball season was canceled today. I’m heart broken for my three seniors who have put their heart and soul into the program from day one. All players on the team gave everything they but no-one in my honest opinion gave more over her 4 years that Gabby Harrison!!! Gabby, not everyone would have stuck with the sport after the 5+ surgeries you had on your left arm. The numerous hours of rehab and pt that would test you physically as well mentally but you always attacked it with a positive attitude. Gabby for this you will always gone down as the 2020 Coaches Award winner in my eyes.... Thank you to all the players and parents for their constant support!!! Just remember ladies
