One of my archery hunters had an unforgettable early November hunt. Two mature bucks were chasing a doe. One of them presented a broadside shot within 15 yards. He executed a great double lung shot and that buck only made it about 50 yards before expiring. He then stayed in the stand and started taking a video of two doe that were underneath of him.
The other buck stayed around and proceeded to make a noise that people call a buck roar. There are two separate videos in this album where the buck makes the roar. It is a uncommon noise to hear a buck make, let alone get it on video.
I also had a trail cam that caught a picture of the roar buck standing there trying to figure out what was in the tree that just shot his competition.
