Fun day on the water. The conditions from last week took a big dip after the storm but we still had a great dive!

Another fantastic day on the water! Calm, glassy sea conditions, no wind, but a bit more overcast. Despite its shallow depth the wreck of the Romance can be a more challenging dive. Today, the visibility was fantastic with the first teams reporting 50 feet! However the tide change quickly reduced it down, a steady current made staying in place impossible, and cloudy water cloaked the wreck during our dive. It was a race against time to take photos. The pics have a bit more of a moody feel, but it was an excellent dive.

First dive charter of the season in the books and it was a good one! Beautiful day on the water and a fantastic dive on the Poling. Visibility was at least 75 feet for the first groups in close to high tide. A solid 50 feet for all. The wreck is in decent shape overall, the section of deck dangling on the port side inside near the break has fallen.

Quick update here! It has been a long winter with limited opportunities for local diving - but we’re excited to get back out on our playground over the next couple of weeks with the arrival of spring. Recently we had the opportunity to conduct a reconnaissance dive in Beverly Harbor as we prepare to kick off in October 2026 participation in the Beverly Harbormaster-led ghost trap recovery project. The conditions were challenging with low visibility and current, but there are plenty of traps to recover! The next reconnaissance dive will test out the rigging system to recover traps. Stay tuned for more updates on this project over the next several months! And see you out on the water soon. 😎

A quiet, dark morning at the marina to start the day is a sure sign of fall but it’s looking to be a fantastic day on the water! Gauntlet has been back at it this weekend after an extended stay at the boat spa for some maintenance and upgrades. Running great and faster! 😎

Beautiful day on the water and a great trip to the Patriot. A few minke whales on the surface and excellent visibility and mild current on the bottom! Got a few snaps with the new strobes. 😎
