What happens when you actually stop fu***ng around? That's the question Madi asked...

She didn’t explode out of the gate.

The holidays came.
Life happened.
Progress was… fine.

And here’s the truth most people don’t want to hear:

Not everybody gets insane results in the first 30 days.
Or 60.
Or even 90.

Sometimes it takes a minute to build momentum.
To learn the habits.
To figure out how this fits into real life.
To decide what you really want out of all of this...

You run the miles.
You run the meetings.
You run your life.
So why doesn’t your body look like it?

From the outside, Shelly looks like she has it figured out...and for the most part, she does...

Career dialed in.
Calendar full.
Trips booked.
Dinner reservations made.
Miles logged before most people hit snooze.

She runs marathons.

She’s not “getting back into shape.”
She’s not starting over.

She just wanted more.

More muscle.
More shape.
More confidence in her clothes.
More presence when she walks into a room.

And she wasn’t willing to give up:
Pizza nights.
A good beer.
A social life.

Because at this stage of life, the goal isn’t shrinking your world to fit your body.

Help me give a round of applause to another one who has been absolutely crushing it with our online coaching program!

In just 3 short months has made such incredible progress! Again, all without wild/unsustainable diets, and without spending hours a day in the gym.

Because Amanda has been putting in WORK.

Amanda is a mom of two busy boys.
A full schedule.
A long commute (2+ hours a day).

And like a lot of moms… fitness slowly slid to the back burner.

Most of you won’t have a body you’re proud of by spring break — not because it’s hard… but because you keep fu***ng around.

I have been doing this fitness s**t for a long ass time...I have experienced all the highs and lows and in-betweens...

And I can tell you this....

You didn’t just suddenly gain weight. Your lifestyle caught up to you.

If you say you’re in a calorie deficit but aren’t losing weight, you’re not actually in a deficit.
No one is exempt from the laws of thermodynamics.

You can bust your ass in the gym, but without nutrition dialed in, you’ll only get so far.

Walking daily and eating enough protein works — you’re just not doing it long enough to matter.
You’re “not eating much,” but you’re not counting snacks, weekends, and overconsumption.

You’ve “tried everything,” but you haven’t been consistent with anything.
You don’t need a new plan — you need to stick to one longer than two weeks.

You’re not tired because you walk.
You’re tired because you don’t.

You’re not in a plateau.
You’re eating more than you think and training less intentionally than you should.

Your daily HIIT class?
Probably doing more harm than good. Lift weights. Walk. Recover.

You don’t need keto. You don’t need to cut carbs.
You need a calorie target, enough protein, whole foods, and daily movement.

“Intuitive eating” doesn’t work if your intuition is overeating.

Your weekend habits are wrecking your weekday progress.
Your results aren’t slow — you’re impatient.

You didn’t gain weight because of hormones or cortisol.
You gained weight because you’re eating too much and moving too little. Period.

Your metabolism isn’t broken.
You’re not a victim.
You’ve got habits that need adjusting.

If your diet isn’t sustainable, neither are your results.

You’re not “too busy.”
You just haven’t made it a priority yet.

Starting is hard.
Staying consistent is hard.
Falling off and pretending you’ll “lock back in on Monday”?
Yeah… that one gets people every time.

Right now especially, life’s got jokes.

Your calendar’s full.
Your kids need everything immediately.
Work somehow wants more than it did last month.
And the one thing that’s supposed to be “for you” keeps getting pushed off the list.

Trust me — I’m not watching this from the sidelines.

The last month for me?
Busy. Stressed. Low energy.
Plenty of “I really don’t feel like it today” days.

And it’s annoying — because when you know better, skipping hits different.

What keeps me moving isn’t motivation.
It’s lowering the bar just enough to actually clear it.

Some days I lift like I planned.
Some days it’s a rushed 30 minutes squeezed between responsibilities.
Some days it’s a short walk just to prove I didn’t fully mail it in.

None of it is sexy.
All of it works.

Here’s the truth most people overcomplicate:

This isn’t about being fired up.
It’s about showing up when you’d rather not — and not making a federal case out of it when things aren’t perfect.

Miss a few days? Get back in.
Haven’t started? Stop negotiating with yourself.
Going strong? Cool — do it again tomorrow.

That’s it. That’s the play.

You don’t have to move mountains.
You don’t have to create the next big thing.
You don’t have to impress anyone.
You don’t have to be liked by everyone.
You don’t have to be anyone you aren’t.

Simply begin to fall in love with life.
Fall in love with being you.

Immerse yourself in your passions.
The things that bring you the most joy.

Be happiness.
Be gratitude.
Be acceptance.
Be kindness.
Be open.
Be understanding.
Be authentic.

Be a good fu***ng human.

Be in love with the things you do—
and the people you do them with. 🦎

Don’t overthink this s**t.

Spend more time on the things that support your mission,
bring out the best in you,
and move you in the direction of your goals.

Don’t try to move mountains.

Be willing to climb them.
Show others the path to the top.
Then take in the view when you get there—together.

You don’t need someone yelling at you to “want it more.”

You already care.

You’re just tired.

Tired of reacting all day.
Tired of putting yourself last and calling it responsibility.
Tired of feeling like confidence is something you used to have.

You still show up.
You still handle everything.
From the outside, nothing looks wrong.
But inside… you know.

Part of you wants to scream.
Because when the f**k are you supposed to focus on you?

You carry yourself differently these days.
You hesitate where you used to be sure.
You catch your reflection and remember what it felt like to feel good in your body.

Clear-headed.
Grounded.
Certain.
You miss that version of yourself.

Not because life was easier —
but because you were steadier.

This isn’t about fixing yourself. You're not broken...
It’s about choosing yourself again — quietly, consistently, without apology.

It's about pulling on your favorite pair of jeans again — no second thought.
Handling a schedule change without it throwing you off.
Missing a workout without it undoing your week.
Showing up for your day like the badass you are.
Belonging in every room you walk into.

Not hype.

And you called it being a parent.

You didn’t quit.
You didn’t give up.
You didn’t suddenly lose discipline.

Your confidence slowly took a back seat to responsibility.
Somewhere along the way, you stopped living and started existing.

Now you tell yourself:
“This is just the season I’m in.”
“My kids come first.”
“I’m fine.”

But you don’t feel fine.

You walk into rooms and notice you don’t carry yourself the same anymore..
You catch your reflection and feel slightly off.
You see old photos and remember exactly how that version of you felt.

You still show up.
You still handle everything.
You still look “fine.”

But you don’t feel undeniable anymore.

It’s not about a number on the scale.
It’s about feeling like your damn self again.

A time when your energy was higher.
Your confidence was effortless.
You didn’t overthink.
You didn’t shrink.
You didn’t apologize for wanting more.
You just lived.

This isn’t about vanity.
It’s about confidence — the unwavering kind.

Because when you look good, you feel good.
And when you feel good, you move through life differently.

There is nothing wrong with wanting that back.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this heading into the new year.

If you’ve ever said, ‘I don’t have time for myself,’ you’re gonna feel this one.

Melissa isn’t living some calm, curated, everything-is-color-coded life.
She’s a full-time real estate pro.
Three kids who require her to be in a million different places at one time.
A schedule that looks like pure chaos on paper and feels even crazier in real life.

And instead of waiting for life to magically “slow down,”
she finally said f**k it — my health matters too.

Not because she had extra time.
Not because things got easier.
Not because she’s suddenly overflowing with motivation.

But because she was tired of being the last name on her own priority list.

And this is where it gets real:

Since starting, she’s taken vacations, gotten sick, missed workouts, had nights out, lived real life — and STILL made progress.

So, give this woman her damn credit: she has earned it all! And it shows — more energy, more confidence, more patience, and a whole lot more of her coming back to life.

So, let her be proof that excuses are only as valid as you allow them to be.
Hopefully this girl inspires you to stop waiting for perfect, start where you’re at, and finally choose you.

Seriously. Enjoy your damn life a little.
If you can’t do that without spiraling into guilt or “I’ll start over Monday,” your system, or process, is broken.

Fitness isn’t supposed to make you miserable.
You shouldn’t have to earn dessert or feel like you’re cheating when you treat yo'self from time to time!

Problem is...most of you are just out here winging it.
Following random workouts.
“Eating healthy” but not tracking — or tracking half-assed.
Stuck in a loop of random effort, random results, and wondering why nothing sticks.

You need a plan — one that actually fits you: your goals, your lifestyle, your sanity.
Decide what you’re willing to compromise on, what you’re not, and build around that.

And yeah, you have to be accountable.
Actually account for what you’re doing.
Stop saying it’s too tedious or time-consuming.
You track your money.
You check your kids’ grades.
You track your fantasy football team and your Amazon packages.
Your health shouldn’t be any different.

You’ve got to make fitness and nutrition a lifestyle — something you can sustain long-term.
When you’re random, it doesn’t work.
And when it doesn’t work, you quit.
