Dear Friends,
Call me CRAZY...but yes, for the second time, I am going to attempt to play 117 HOLES OF GOLF IN A SINGLE DAY for a great cause - to raise money for the Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund (LICSF). The LICSF provides needs-based financial assistance for higher education to deserving young men and women who have worked as caddies or in other golf service jobs. (BTW...Why 117 ??? ... given my competitive nature, I want to beat my own record of 116 holes played last time!)
On Monday, August 27th, I am proud to support the Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund (LICSF) and The Long Island Golf Association (LIGA) as we host the 7th Annual "GOLF MARATHON" at Garden City Country Club. WILL YOU PLEASE SUPPORT ME? In the 55 year history of the Fund, over 750 college scholarships have been awarded, totaling over $4 million. Donations are 100% tax deductible.
The LICSF has always championed caddies and the vital service they provide in making the game more enjoyable and playable. Caddying introduces many young people to golf and the invaluable life principles of honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility and teamwork, to name a few. Golf has given me so much in life and is a great way to support the future of young individuals who so desperately need financial assistance as they pursue a higher education.
Please join me in championing this worthy cause by helping me reach my goal of $15,000. Donating is easy. You can pledge a PER HOLE amount (for those who want me to earn every dollar!) or a FLAT AMOUNT.
To pledge ONLINE … Click this Link: https://licsf.ejoinme.org/golfmarathon2018
FOR PER HOLE PLEDGES - you will be invoiced once we know how many holes I've completed!
FOR FLAT DOLLAR PLEDGES - you can enter your donation via credit card directly on the pledge site
or Mail your donation to - LICSF, 49 Knollwood Road, Elmsford, NY 10523. (Please write my name on the Memo section to ensure I receive credit towards my marathon fundraising).
Thank you in advance for supporting a great cause that rewards those in need who share a common passion and love for the game of golf!
With warm regards,
Patrice
