Island Box Lacrosse

Island Box Lacrosse It is time Long Island is introduced to this great game.... We won't be playing field Lacrosse inside, we will be giving true box lacrosse instruction.

Together with US Box Lacrosse Association (USBOXLA), Island Box Lacrosse (IBL) teaches the game of box lacrosse in an authentic, organized, safe, and fun environment. Through introducing and teaching the Box game to some of the best field players in the country IBL plans to produce talent rich teams, comprised of skilled players from all over Long Island, that can compete against the best box lacr

osse teams in the country. Long Island will finally have U10 - U18 Teams part of the U.S Box Lacrosse Association. Not affiliated with any club teams, IBL is Long Island's only sanctioned chapter of USBOXLA. As an extension of USBOXLA, IBL is able to bring the highest level Box Lacrosse experience to the the area. IBL's leadership team includes its Director, Long Island native Brian Langtry. Brian was named the greatest ever American box lacrosse player by an Inside Lacrosse
fan poll and, following his playing days, has had a highly successful coaching career. IBL is currently building its presence on Long Island and will be certifying referees and coaches throughout Fall 2017.
