Join us for Golden Girl for a Day Friday, August 19th from 9:00-12:30pm. T shirt and lunch are included in the price $35! Students will stretch, warm up and practice a mini routine that will be performed at the end for parents/guardians!

What a way to end our 2021 competition season! We are so excited to announce that we placed 1st in Team Performance, 1st in Pom & 1st in Kick at the May virtual competition!! We also received a specialty “Be Bold” award for our unique music and style choice for our kick routine! Congratulations to all teams who competed this weekend! & Congratulations to our very own Golden Girls!! We are SO proud of you 🤩💙✨

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Captain Arianna Belmonte has been a part of the kickline program for the past 5 years, all of which she spent on Varsity. Besides dance/kickline, Ari’s interests include working out and fashion. Her favorite part about kickline is the bond of the team and the friendships she has made along the way. Ari’s favorite kickline memory is winning 2nd place in the nation in the pom category during her sophomore year. “Although we didn’t get first, we were so excited to see that everyone loved our routine and we were eligible for grand champs for the first time!”. After graduation Ari plans to continue dancing at the collegiate level. If she could offer one piece of advice to future golden girls it would be to “take in every second because it goes veryyyy quick. Work your absolute hardest because your work ethic will help you get far on this team, and that is THE most important thing.”

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Captain Victoria Bracken has been on kickline for 4 years and has spent the last 3 on Varsity. Her favorite thing to do besides dance/kickline is to go shopping. Victoria’s favorite thing about kickline is performing during halftime at football games and other school events. Victoria’s favorite kickline memory was winning an NDA National Championship title in the kick division during her sophomore year. After graduation Victoria will be attending Syracuse University where she will major in accounting. If Victoria could offer one piece of advice to future golden girls it would be to remember that “your performances are a reflection of how hard you work at practice. Go for that extra turn, jump or skill no matter how hard it is. Each routine is only 2 minutes long, you’ll always be able to make it through.”

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Assistant Captains Irene Pfeffer has been on kickline for the last 4 years and has spent 3 on Varsity. Besides dance/kickline, Irene enjoys drawing and going out to dinner with her friends. Irene’s favorite thing about kickline is getting to dance with a dedicated and hard working team who wishes to achieve the same goals. She also enjoys performing at football games and competitions because “it finally gives us an opportunity to showcase what we have to offer as a team”. Her favorite kickline memory was when Coach Martino surprised the team at nationals in 2020. After graduation Irene plans to study Graphic Design and continue to dance at the collegiate level. If Irene could offer one piece of advice to future golden girls it would be "to always give 110% no matter what. It doesn’t matter if it’s a one hour practice, a 6 hour practice, a performance, etc., we are all so incredibly lucky to be able to dance and should never take anything we do for granted. This team has really changed me for the better as an individual and I hope for the same for all future team members.”

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Assistant Captain Elyssa Finkel has been on kickline for 5 years and has spent the last 3 on Varsity. Her favorite thing to do besides dance/kickline is to hangout with friends. Elyssa’s favorite thing about kickline is making unforgettable memories with her favorite people and getting to attend nationals. Her favorite kickline memory was becoming a National Champion in 2019 during her sophomore year!! After graduation, Elyssa will be attending Quinnipiac to study accounting. If Elyssa could offer one piece of advice to future golden girls it would be "to take in every moment! Hard work will take you far, but the memories you make along the way will last a lifetime!”

& that’s a wrap on NDA Virtual Nationals 2021! We were announced as finalists for the NDA Go Be Great award, placed 7th in SV Pom, 5th in Team Performance & 3rd in SV Kick!! Congratulations girls. We love you and are SO proud of you. You are truly Golden! 💙✨
