On September 27, 2024, our lives were changed forever when we lost one of our own, Lauren Andruzzi. Lauren embodied everything that Modern Rhythms stands for—hard work, loyalty, kindness, and an undeniable love for dance.
She was the brightest light in every room, always smiling and welcoming others into the studio, her life, and her friendship.
She supported every teammate, led by example, and was a role model to all who knew her. Lauren had a unique ability to make people feel valued and loved, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.
She made our studio, our community, and the world a better place. Lauren was truly one of a kind—a rare and unforgettable soul whose legacy continues to inspire us every day. Her spirit lives on through the values she represented and the countless lives she touched.
To honor Lauren’s memory, we created the Lauren Andruzzi Memorial Scholarship, awarded each year to a student who embodies the same qualities Lauren carried throughout her dance career—hard work, loyalty, kindness, leadership, and a genuine love for dance.
Ava Coppeto, we could not be more proud to present you with this honor. This is more than just a scholarship; it is a legacy that keeps Lauren’s spirit alive within our studio and serves as a reminder of the incredible person she was.
We would also like to recognize Gabriella Papadatos, our 2025 recipient, who represented this title with grace, humility, and excellence throughout the year. As the torch is passed to Ava, we know it is in wonderful hands.
Ava received this award on what would have been Lauren’s 22nd birthday, making this moment even more meaningful.
Lauren, we love you, we miss you, and we think about you every single day. Your legacy continues to shine through the dancers who proudly carry your memory forward. Though you were taken from us far too soon, your light will forever remain a part of Modern Rhythms, guiding and inspiring generations to come.💚💙
