IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR ALERT! 🎉

What an incredible week! After a full week of classroom sessions, confined-water and open-water presentations, evaluating and grading IDC candidates, and putting their instructor skills to the test....and LOTS of laughs.

Dani, Butch & Bekah are officially PADI IDC Staff Instructors!

They've completed their week-long training with our amazing Course Director, Jessica, and we couldn’t be happier to have her as part of our team! 💙

Becoming a Staff Instructor is a huge milestone and an exciting new chapter.

We’re looking forward to having our Staff Instructors certify our next generation of PADI Assistant Instructors and assist Jess on our upcoming IDC- Instructor Development Course in 2027 on our next generation of PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors.

Congratulations, you three! We’re so proud of you and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you!

Congratulations Scott H., Scott K. and Adam on earning your PADI Night Diver certifications with instructor Dani.
A huge shoutout to DM Taryn assisting underwater, and DM Dan providing surface support on land. Teamwork makes the dream work!

And the fish definitely came out to play… and instigate!

🐟 The bass were busy feeding on crayfish
🎃 Pumpkinseed hanging out on the reef balls
🐠 And even the koi got up close and personal...they were so curious!

It was a long night, but certainly a great one! There’s something truly special about exploring the underwater world after dark.

(Late post) Declan amazes us in each and every class he takes. This past weekend, Declan completed his Full Face Mask Diver Course with Butch and we'll tell you that he rocked it!

Kids are so amazing when learning something new.

Seeing Declan grow is so special. Not only seeing him grouw into a young adult, but his mindset and growing as a diver. Shows so much determination.

For the express three day course.
This class is kept small for a reason. We do pool all day on Friday and then the students will do their open water dives over the weekend to finish in just three days. What a great group of brand new divers. We hope to see you real soon for some more fun underwater.

Let's welcome Juliana to the Atlantis Aquatics Siren Pod! At just 9 years old, she completed her Basic Mermaid certification with Mermaid Instructor Taryn. Juliana did mermaizing, making a splash and finding all the hidden treasure throughout the pool! Congrats. Juliana!

Another fun packed weekend of classes and diving adventures here at Atlantis.
We had the pleasure of doing the Underwater Navigation Course with divers
Hillary, Alexander & our very own Max Kraft.
Instructor Dave did an awesome job teaching and keeping the group together. “Blue Angels V formation”
As per it being August out visibility is lower then the rest of the year and the Navigation Course is the ideal one to have when the vis drops down some.
Have you taken the Navigation Course yet? Hop on the band wagon and treat yourself to this amazing confidence building course. You will do three dives and can all be done in one day of diving.

Scuba Diving Is Better Together!

Scuba diving is such a fun activity to enjoy as a family, and this weekend was a perfect example.

Instructor Butch had the pleasure of certifying Blake, Justin, and Nadine, who is Ken’s niece and family, as new PADI Open Water Divers with our Express Open Water Diver Course.

With the assistance of Divemaster Taryn and DAN, it was a fantastic weekend filled with learning, adventure, and making memories together.

What a fun weekend with this crew!

We had a fantastic time at Lake Hydra celebrating the accomplishments of Joy, Sophia, Fabian, Trissa, Elaina, and Santiago as they completed their PADI Open Water Diver Course!
