All fields owned and maintained by Upper Saucon Township will be closed tomorrow (9/9) for a grass treatment. This includes fields 1-5 at Upper Saucon Community Park and Hopewell fields 1&2 (the u9 and u11 fields).

I realize the calendar just turned to September, but it is time to plan for October. Once again, SLS is participating in Pink October to raise money for breast cancer research and awareness. 25% of all proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in memory of former SLS board member Mylene Seelie. Last year we were able to raise $500, which was matched to create a $1,000 contribution!

We have 2 varieties of pink socks and this year we added 2 varieties of fall/winter beanies for players, coaches, and fans. We pre-ordered 20 SLS pink beanies to ensure they would be available for October. If we get more than 20 orders, the orders beyond 20 may be delayed.

We can sign-off on volunteer hours. Volunteers will also get a free gatorade and snack from the snack tent.
