Hosted at the Z Collection luxury tile showroom, 57 local design professionals gathered for "One Week in Milan" to network, enjoy aperitivos, and dive into top global trends with 20-year Milan reporter Damon Johnstun. From 70s Scandinavian aesthetics to the sweeping popularity of Rosa Levanto red marble, the presentation sparked dynamic industry discussion.

This event was a great way to engage non-members and introduce them to the community, showing firsthand how our regional chapters deliver high-value programming, global design insights, and meaningful connection.

“Come out of your shell and taste the ocean.” 🌊🦞

That was the theme for the NKBA's Maine Chapter's 3rd Annual Lobster Bake. Hosted at Bangor Wholesale Laminates, 50 attendees enjoyed delicious clam steamers, brisket, and pulled pork from Jeff’s Catering while networking and learning practical tips on lighting, shelving inserts, and budgeting considerations from Jason Blais of Rev-A-Shelf.

Rotating event locations across Maine’s huge geographical footprint is no easy feat, but NKBA Maine is making it happen for their members in the north and south.

Duravit and NKBA recently gathered in Santa Monica for an Evening of Exclusive Design, celebrating the launch of Duravit’s new Collection One at the Ferguson Home showroom.

Duravit’s Global CEO, Michael Demmer, and CMO, Lüder Fromm joined the celebration, sharing how California’s culture serves as a major spark for global design trends. That spirit of iconic innovation shines through Collection One—crafted in collaboration with Studio F. A. Porsche and carrying the timeless design DNA of the classic Porsche 911.

The night was anchored by our panel, "The Future of Bathroom Design: Wellness, Innovation & the Evolving Luxury Customer," featuring designers Rhydhima Brar and Anita Yokota exploring what’s next for high-end residential spaces.
