In 2022, Kendall Jones was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. As an avid runner, he knew movement mattered—but he soon realized he needed more than running alone.
That’s when he found the Parkinson’s program at Onelife Fitness Holly Springs.
Led by Kelly and supported by a dedicated team of instructors and volunteers, the program uses exercises designed to address Parkinson’s symptoms while creating something just as important: community, encouragement, and hope.
Today, Kendall shows up rain or shine, whether he “feels like it” or not, because he knows how much better he feels when he does.
And he’s not alone. The Holly Springs Parkinson’s program now serves 29 people, offering 8 classes each week with the support of instructors and 8 dedicated volunteers.
For Kelly, it’s about helping people continue to challenge themselves, move with confidence, and know they have a community behind them. ❤️
Kendall’s story is a reminder that sometimes, simply showing up is one of the strongest things you can do.
