We’re ramping up our efforts to get the trails ready for winter. Our next 2 work parties will be September 11th and the 27th. We will meet up and clean up the trails from 9-3. Don’t forget, this is a great way to earn a season pass in exchange for your help. 2 work parties is all it takes.
Please let us know if you can make it. We will also be announcing more dates and weekends in October.

The weekend before last was a big one for Strong Machine Adventure Racing -- the 10th anniversary of the Maine Summer Adventure Race!

Fortunately, the weather gods smiled upon us and we were greeted with bluebird skies. Combined with our amazing host venue at Mt. Abram in Greenwood, Maine, and the chance to share our passion for the outdoors with 300 of our friends, it was a perfect weekend.

A huge thanks to the racers from across the country and the globe (we had two racers from New Zealand this year!), large and small, young and old, who joined us for this epic day. It always gives us such joy to see so many people from so many different backgrounds all playing together in the woods of Maine!

The results have been submitted to USARA and the Adventure Racing World Series - North America Region Series. Both series have rankings you can check out on their websites! Thank you to both organizations for their support.

Special congratulations to all our overall and division winners this year. The winning team of the 24-hour race, Highpoint Racing, won a free entry to the USARA National Championship in Bend, Oregon in October -- a $1,600 value!

So excited to be a destination for the Strong Machine Adventure Racing Adventure Race today. Some very strong adventure racers out today. What a fun sight, bikes, canoes and trekkers out on our trails and in Western Maine.

The Yurt is officially down. Sad to see it go after so many years. But we’re excited to be able to offer something new. Looking forward to sharing it with you.

Work party! Hello friends, we’re hosting our first work party of the season. Our yurt has officially seen its last day. We’re planning on taking it down and rebuilding something new. Anyone available to help with demo and potentially rebuilding on June 29th? We’ll end our work party with some swimming in the river.
Remember, 2 work parties will earn you a free season pass. Please let us know in the comments if you can make it.
