Had good time today caught up with some old friends, got to run a flatkart for the first time. It was awesome to be back behind the wheel. Unfortunately a slipping clutch put an early end to our day. Was great to watch my team mate take down the win, would have been nice to try for a one,two finish but it was in the cards today. I would like to thank Dan Smeriglio for the opportunity to run the legendary 8 of Bones Stevens from our old Danbury Racearena days. Thank you Mike and Corey for the encouragement and also Hillary Brown and Dylan Vail of Vail Motorsports for thier encouraging words. Looking forward to coming back to Pomfret in tbe near future.

So it seems the Danbury Racearena connection will venture to Pomfret Speedway on Sunday the 19th where I will be driving the number 8 flatkart for Dan Smeriglio. Looking forward to this race as I am working on my karts and putting together a fund raiser event for Tunnel to Towers Foundation involving champkarts and flatheads. Can't wait to be back in the saddle.
