Ty View Farm Come join us for lessons or camps and experience how life-changing a relationship with a horse can be As a child, horses saved my life.

Mine is a story of healing and growth - a story of someone reaching out to bless another human being when there was no obligation to do so. It's a story about tapping into opportunity and realizing that we are truly capable of so much more than we realize and it highlights the incredible, life- changing journey made possible through a deep relationship with horses. Our vision is to bring life full

circle and offer you the same - to whatever degree you choose. We'll share our knowledge, our experience, our horses and our farm. We'll guide you to becoming a strong, competent rider and we'll support your personal goals, realizing that one size does not fit all. Most important, we will celebrate your every success! Come join us for lessons, clinics or camps. Come experience your Happy Place!

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Ty View Farm, effective August 31st.

As many of you know, our vision has always been to foster a Culture of Kindness and to offer programs that enrich the lives of everyone who spends time here. An equally important part of that vision has been ensuring our programs were accessible to all, regardless of their ability to pay.

As a nonprofit organization, we have been incredibly fortunate to rely on the generosity of our amazing donors to help make that possible. Unfortunately, with the current economic uncertainty, several of our donors have had to make the difficult decision to reduce or eliminate their financial support. At the same time, neither Kevin nor I have ever accepted compensation for the countless hours we've devoted to the farm. Caring for horses is expensive. Maintaining the farm is expensive. As funding has declined, Kevin and I have personally carried an increasing share of the financial burden to keep the farm operating. We have also remained committed to paying our incredible staff, whose work has been supported by the most dedicated volunteers we could ever have hoped for.

Simply put, this model is no longer sustainable.

As of August 31st, Ty View Farm will no longer offer Day Camps, Adventure Camps, riding lessons, trail rides, or any of our other programs. We will also be reducing the size of our herd.

Over the past eight years of formal operation, approximately 796 individuals have participated in our programs. Every one of those lives has left a lasting mark on us. Watching children gain confidence, families make memories, riders discover a love for horses, and individuals find peace and healing here has been the greatest privilege we could have imagined.

To everyone who has supported us—our participants, families, donors, volunteers, staff, and friends—thank you. Your kindness, encouragement, and belief in our mission have meant more than words can express. While this chapter is coming to an end, the impact of the Ty View Farm community will remain with us always.

If you are seeing this and have any questions, please reach out. We will continue to post memories and invite you to copy any that touch your heart.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Kevin & Terrie

PLEASE CONFIRM….If you plan to attend lessons on Wednesday this week, please let me know.

We have a waiting list of folks waiting to hear back from us. If I don’t hear from you BY 9:00 PM tonight, I’ll have to release spots to those waiting.

Please note that as of this week, lessons will be first reserved - first secured and reservations must be confirmed weekly by 9:00 PM on Mondays.

THIS REQUIREMENT TO CONFIRM APPLIES TO ALL PARTICIPANTS, whether or not you’ve previously indicated that you will be at all lessons. Please confirm weekly! When we’re full, reservations will be closed.

This change is necessary due to people reserving far in advance and then not showing up. No-shows and last minute changes result in disappointed folks and more staff on hand than needed.

Thank you for your understanding!

It was nearing the end of the day and I just wanted to get some training in. Then, the escapees appeared.

Okay, Justin, I see you. I hear you telling me to slow down, lower my expectations and just enjoy the moment.

For once, I listened and it was a precious experience.

I love you forever and a day!
