Shoot-N-Iron hosted our youth shooting club this morning and we had a good turnout. We saw some good shooters in our youth group today and it was impressive to watch their shot group tighten up each time they shot on the line. Our club is hoping to organize competion between ourselves and other groups such as 4H and various school groups. Our staff and Instructors enjoy promoting safe shooting and safety skills with our youth. I would like to thank the Instructors, Parents and friends who have donated their time and skills to help these youth become accomplished shooters. If you are interested in your child joining our club, contact the range and we will get you signed up.

Greetings from the Range. Shootin Iron Practical Shooting Academy will be sponsoring a SDA concealed carry class on Saturday March 21, 2026 starting at 9:00 am. We are also sponsoring on Saturday March 28, 2026 a Basic Handgun Class starting at 9:00 am. Our facility is proud to sponsor on April 25 and 26 2026, NRA Instructor Mark Heins, who will be teaching a NRA Rifle Instructor school at our range. This will be a two day school consisting of classroom and range instruction.
Shootin Iron Practical Shooting Academy is proud to sponsor our youth shooting club who meets on the first Saturday of each month to learn firearm safety and shooting skills. We have a great group of kids who are learning safe firearm handling and gun skills. The weather is starting to get nicer and we are open to the public for general shooting as well as different classes. Our staff and Instructors look forward to working with you and we look forward to seeing you at the range .

Greetings to our shooting friends. October is here and hunting season is upon us. Shoot-N-Practical Shooting Academy wants to remind all hunters that our outdoor rifle range is open to the public for scope sight in work and making sure your hunting rifles are tuned up for the upcoming season. Our staff and instructors are here to offer assistance with those who are not familiar with tuning their rifles. The range is also having a SDA class on October 11, 2025 beginning at 830 am. Cost for this class is $65.00 per student. And for all the armed security and private investigators who are needing their requalifications for the 2025 calender end of year training, we offer requalifications for everyone who needs it, so dont wait until the last minute. Just a reminder for your shooting friends. Shoot-N-Iron Practical Shooting Academy will be offering a Carry Concealed Course (SDA) on Friday September 6th, 2025 starting at 9:00 am. We are also have our meeting for interested parents and kids to form a youth shooting club on September 6, 2025 at 9:00 am. Hello from the range. Hope everyone is bearing the oklahoma heat. Shoot-N-Iron Practical Shooting Academy will be hosting a Basic Handgun class on August 2, 2025. We welcome students who have fi****ms but are not familiar with the basics of loading,unloading,and cleaning care of their weapons. Let our instructors show you how to safely clean and maintain your weapons and sharpen your shooting skills. Our faciliy is also proud to announce the forming of Shoot-N-Iron Practical Shooting Club for kids age 14 to young adults up to the age of 18. This will be a 22 rifle club which will meet at the range once a month to learn responsible gun safety and how to accurately shoot rifles for upcoming competitions at our range. We will be having a meeting at our range on Saturday September 6, 2025 at 9 am for interested kids and parents. The range will have 22 rifles for club members to shoot and members will be able to shoot their own rifles as well. Our staff and Instructors look forward to teaching good sportsmanship and safety so come and support the kids in the group and we will have a good time at the range . Shoot-N-Iron Practical Shooting Academy would like to congratulate all the graduates and wish everyone a great summer. We would like to let everyone know that our facility is offering a Basic Handgun Course on June 7, 2025 beginning at 8:30 am. Learn not only great marksmanship but this is a great class for the beginning shooter. We teach safety, legal, and how to maintain your firearm including cleaning and disassembly and proper storing of your firearm. Our facility is also honored to be hosting a NRA Pistol Instructor class on June 14, 2025 starting at 9:00 am. Interested parties wanting to attend this class contact our range and get registered . Cost for this instruction is $200.00 per student. Plans are in the work for our second annual “free day at the range” customer appreciation day. Follow our page for up dates as soon as plans for that range day are confirmed . As always we appreciate our customers and enjoy making new shooting friends and we look forward to seeing you on the range .

Shoot-N-Iron Practical Shooting Academy had scheduled a SDA class for tormorrow May 17, 2025. We have not had anyone contact our facility for enrollment and we are letting everyone know our range is open to the public this weekend for shooting . If you are interested in using the range, feel free to contact us to schedule an appointment . We look forward to seeing everyone at the range .

Greetings from Shoot N Iron Practical Shooting Academy. Hope everyone is staying dry from all this rain . Our range is a muddy mess right now. I wanted to let all of our shooting friends know that will be hosting a SDA (concealed carry) class on May 17, 2025 beginning at 8:30 am. As soon as we get dried out we also will be hosting a Basic Handgun class and we will be planning a kids and young adult 22 shooting match for this summer. We have also been approached to host a cowboy match this spring. This match will be consisting of pistol rifle and shotgun stages . Discussion is in the works for our second annual free day at the range shoot as well this summer. We look forward to seeing all our shooting friends and we will see you at the range .

Greetings to the shooting public. Spring is finally here and days are getting warmer. Shoot N Iron Practical Shooting Academy is going to host a Basic Handgun Class on April 5th, 2025 starting at 830 am. We are also going to offer a Ladies Only Basic Handgun Class for interested shooters. This will include Basic Pistol operation, cleaning and disassembly and concealment for the ladies only. Interested parties for the class contact the range for further information at 405-639-9164 . We are also teaching SDA classes and requalifications for Armed Security and Private Investigators for the 2025 Calender year. We look forward to seeing you as always on the range .
