Being a trainer I hear plenty of excuses. Number 1 being โ€œnot enough timeโ€. In some cases thatโ€™s absolutely true, however I find in most cases that this usually means that the individual doesnโ€™t have a CONVENIENT time to workout. Sure it sucks training super early in the morning, after work when youโ€™re already tired or skipping an event to get a workout in. If youโ€™re not willing to make sacrifices and complete the necessary steps to hit your goals then youโ€™re in for a long road of struggle and disappointment. Do it for yourself ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

Honestly, I think one of the best feelings is seeing that ALL of your sacrifices, time put in and commitment was worth it. It can be very stressful at times but you canโ€™t stray away from your plan. Be patient and consistent. The changes will come ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Your weekend ended up being one long binge of too much food and drink, and now you feel terrible.

Use the following 3 steps to get right back on your feet, and back to eating and exercising right.

1. Draw a line in the sand. Decide here and now that your binge is over. Stop the self-destructive behavior and enlist the support from the important people in your life.

2. Remove the triggers from your home. Clean out the pantry, the freezer and the stash under your bed. Get these unhealthy foods out of your home and out of your way. See these items for what they really areโ€”obstacles that prevent you from getting what you really want out of life.

3. Refocus your goals. Why were you eating healthy and exercising in the first place? Because you have goals. You have a vision of the healthy, fit body that youโ€™re working to achieve. Focus your mind on your most desired goals and unleash your inner work ethic and determination.

Feeling stressed? Most people are these days.

The past couple of months have been filled with new levels of stress as weโ€™ve all dealt with the coronavirus pandemic.

But you donโ€™t have to let stress get the best of you.

When stress is getting you down, you need something that makes you feel good and is good for you.

Iโ€™m talking about exercise!

Every time you exercise you increase your bodyโ€™s production of endorphins.

In case you have forgotten, endorphins are responsible for those good moods you get into after a race and the pleasure you feel while chomping down on a piece of chocolate.

However, before you grab a piece of chocolate and skip your workout, remember the end result of each and choose which one will help you battle stress in the long run.

(Hint: Itโ€™s not the chocolate.)
