As a father, there are moments in life that make you stop and realize just how proud you truly are. Today is one of those moments for me.

Many of you know my daughter, Master Emaly, as a 4th Degree Black Belt here at Pereira Karate. You’ve seen her grow up in the dojo, work with students, train hard, and carry herself with kindness, discipline, and leadership.

But today, I get to proudly say something else…

She has officially earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University.

Watching her achieve this has been incredible. The long hours, the hard work, the sacrifices, the stress, and the determination — she pushed through it all and accomplished something truly amazing.

As her dad, I couldn’t be prouder of the woman she has become. Not just because of the degrees or titles, but because of her heart, her character, and the way she genuinely cares about helping people.

From the dojo floor to earning her doctorate, she’s shown what dedication and perseverance really look like.

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Master Emaly! We love you and are so incredibly proud of you. ❤️🥋🎓
