We were honored to receive recognition at the 2025–26 Bison Awards.

Mckay Ginez (Junior) – Named Team MVP! Mckay had the best attacking percentage on our team during conference play. He also had a career high of 11 kills for two different matches. After having injuries last year, he came back willing to put the work in and it showed. Mckay has grown as a leader and deserves this award for his dedication to the team!

Shoutout to all the athletes who received awards across the other programs within Bethany College. We see you! 👏🦬

Last week Bethany College celebrated Honors Day, which recognizes the outstanding academic achievements of our students.

🏅 Cole Thomas received the John G. Chernenko Award 🏅

The John G. Chernenko Award in Political Science was established in honor of this public servant, labor leader, and long time friend of Bethany College. Chernenko served as U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of West Virginia in the administrations of Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. He has dedicated his life to national and state public affairs and was thrice elected to the West Virginia State Senate, serving the First Senatorial District.

The award is presented annually to the junior Political Science major with the highest overall grade point average. The Award was endowed by a gift from Judge Joyce Chernenko and Marc B. Chernenko, members of the Class of 1978.

Congrats on another achievement Cole! We are proud of how hard you have worked in the classroom!!

The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) announced the 2026 All-PAC men’s volleyball teams and conference award winners this evening. The postseason accolades were decided through voting by the league’s seven head coaches.

The PAC also released its 2026 PAC Sportsmanship Team. The PAC Sportsmanship Teams were established to recognize student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior and are an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage positive sportsmanship among all PAC teams.

We are incredibly proud of Cole & Mckay and the time they have put in this season to get the recognition within the conference. 🦬🏐

BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College men's volleyball team fell to Thiel (Pa.) College by a final score of 3-2 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match to conclude the 2026 season on Joe Kurey Memorial Court inside Hummel Fieldhouse.

HIRAM, Ohio - The Bethany College men's volleyball team fell to Hiram (Ohio) College by a final score of 3-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match in Price Gymnasium.
