This kind of snuck up on us, so short turn around of 7 days… BUT,

If your little baller has outgrown a pair of basketball shoes that still have some game left in them, consider donating them to the Jr. Eagles! We’ll have the gently used shoes available at evaluations on August 25th and 26th for families who could use them.

Anything left over will be donated to the EAWR Jr. Oilers basketball program. 🏀

It’s a simple way to give back, help another kid get on the court, and keep our basketball community growing together!

🦅 Eagle Nation Community Box is officially here! 🦅

We are incredibly proud to finally see this project come to fruition, and even more excited about what it can mean for our community.

The Eagle Nation Community Box is built on a simple idea: take what you need, leave what you can. There is absolutely no judgment. We all go through seasons where a little extra help can make a big difference, and we believe our community is strongest when we look out for one another.

The box will have a variety of nonperishable food items, hygiene products, school supplies and other basic necessities available to students, families, anyone in our community and those in the surrounding area who may need a little extra support. If you have something to give, we encourage you to leave it. If you need something, please take it. It really is that simple.

A huge thank you to Principal Newell for helping bring this idea to life and for always being such a strong supporter of our community and our students. He consistently goes above and beyond, and we are incredibly grateful for his willingness to support ideas that can make a meaningful difference.

We also want to give a special thank you to Mr. Cichlar and his construction class for building such an incredible structure. Their time, effort and craftsmanship turned an idea into something tangible that our community can use, and we could not be more appreciative.

The Eagle Nation Community Box is located directly behind the Central Office, between the Central Office and the Auxiliary Gym/Weight Room.

We hope this becomes more than just a box. We hope it becomes a small reminder that our community is willing to step up, lend a hand and make sure no one feels like they have to go through a difficult time alone. 💜💛

DON'T MISS OUT 🦅

We’re excited to announce our first ever Jr. Eagles Skills Camp for BOTH GIRLS AND BOYS! This is our way of celebrating the start of a new school year, the beginning of another Jr. Eagles season, and most importantly, getting our kids together for a night of basketball and fun!

We’ll have coaches from both the girls and boys varsity programs, along with some current and former players, helping make the night special. There will be basketball, games, pizza, drinks, a movie, skills, T shirts and plenty more!

📅 September 12th
⏰ 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM
📍 Civic Memorial, both gyms
💰 $35 per kid
🏀 K through 6th grade, girls and boys

Please register by August 31st to guarantee your T shirt! You can still register all the way up until the day of the camp, but after August 31st we cannot guarantee that a T shirt will be available, so don’t wait!

All registration and payment will be handled directly through our new website, making it easier than ever to get signed up.

We’re really excited about this one and we hope to see a TON of Jr. Eagles there! This is just the beginning of some of the new things we have planned. 🦅💜💛

If you signed up for the CM Boys Basketball camp through Snap, they will be available for pickup in the CM Main Gym on Friday 7/31 from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

🦅School is right around the corner and so is BASKETBALL SEASON 🏀

⭐️Come out to our registration/evaluation event on August 25th for the 2026-2027 season

⭐️Bring tennis shoes, water and a winning attitude to meet with coaches and directors, get fitted for a uniform, and while the kids work their skills the parents will attend a mandatory meeting about the program.

⭐️Don’t let “evaluations” scare you! Everyone will be placed on a team.
