That time of year! I know some people may have already started frost seeding and other folks may decide to wait longer. Personally this next 5-7 days is when I love to do it. Frost seeding requires the right type of conditions but we just got snow in my neck of the woods and the forecast shows nights under 32 degrees and daytime highs in the 40-50s. As the snow melts it adds moisture to the soil then the freezing thawing action draws seed into ground cracks. Lastly, we have rain in the forecast next week so your seed has the perfect chance of germinating and getting a great start!
