Our Advanced Skills Academy wrapped up this week, and it was a great reminder of what this program is all about.

These girls showed up, put in the work, and built a strong foundation that’s going to carry them forward in their volleyball journey. From day one to now, the growth has been real—better footwork, stronger ball control, improved confidence, and a much better understanding of the game.

ASA is designed to meet players where they are and help them take the next step, and this group did exactly that. Whether they were newer to the game or continuing to build on what they already knew, they came in with great attitudes and left better players.

What stands out most isn’t just the skill development—it’s the willingness to learn, to be coached, and to compete the right way. That’s what makes the difference long term.

We’re proud of this group and the work they put in all season. This is where it starts.

Strong weekend for Country Fire Volleyball.

Our teams continue to put in the work, and it’s showing in how they compete across every level.

11-1 — 🥇 1st Place Finish
13-2 — 🥈 2nd Place at Fire Fest
14-2 — 🥈 2nd Place at Fire Fest
13-1 — 🥉 3rd in Power Pool Bracket at Fire Fest
14-1 — Earned a spot in the Gold Bracket at Lone Star Classic, a huge accomplishment at that level

We had multiple teams competing at Fire Fest this weekend (13-1, 13-2, 14-2), and it was great to see them compete, adjust, and grow throughout the day.

What stands out most is the way these teams are learning to compete, handle adversity, and play together. That’s what this part of the season is about.

We’re building something special, and we’re not done yet.

At Country Fire, we’ve always said we’re about more than volleyball—and the past few weeks have been a great example of that.

Over our last three team Bible studies, we’ve had dads of players step in and lead. These weren’t long or complicated messages—just real conversations, sharing a little about their lives, their experiences, and lessons that matter both on and off the court.

What makes it special is that this wasn’t something we asked for… it was something families wanted to be part of.

That says a lot about this community.

We’re building athletes in the gym—working hard, getting reps, improving every day. But we’re also building something bigger. Confidence. Character. Leadership. And a support system that goes beyond just coaches and players.

Grateful for the dads who stepped up, and for families who continue to pour into these girls.

This is what “more than volleyball” looks like.

Weekend Update (or… let’s call it a couple weekends 😅)

With the craziness of volleyball lately, I missed getting this out—so here’s a quick look at the last two weekends.

Two weekends ago, our 12-1’s and 14-1’s both had strong showings, each bringing home a 2nd place finish. Proud of how both teams competed and kept getting better throughout the day.

This past weekend, our 15-1’s and 16-1’s were down in San Antonio at the Lone Star Classic Qualifier.

The 15-1’s had a tough start, dropping their first two matches, but responded the right way—battling back to win their next six straight. That says a lot about their toughness and growth.

The 16-1’s played some really solid volleyball all weekend, finishing 9th out of 104 teams and competing in the gold bracket. Strong finish against high-level competition.

A lot of growth happening across the board right now. Proud of these teams and how they continue to respond, compete, and represent what we’re about.

Country Fire 16-1’s | Red Rock Rave – Las Vegas

Our 16-1’s had a strong showing this weekend at the Red Rock Rave in Las Vegas, finishing 9th out of 80 teams in one of the most competitive fields of the season.

The team battled their way to a 6–2 record, earning their spot in the Gold Bracket and competing with some of the top teams in the tournament. Their run came to an end against the #1 overall seed, but not before showing the grit, discipline, and level of play that this group continues to build each weekend.

Competing in a field this deep and finishing in the top 10 is something to be proud of, and it’s a reflection of the work these athletes are putting in every day in the gym.

Proud of this group and excited to keep building. 🔥

Country Fire Volleyball Weekend Recap

Another strong weekend for Country Fire teams as our athletes continued to compete, grow, and represent the club well across multiple divisions. It’s always great to see the hard work in the gym start to show up on the court.

16-1’s had an outstanding tournament, finishing 7th out of 72 teams while going 4–1 on the weekend, placing them in the top 10% of the field. Their only loss came against the #1 overall seed, and it took everything that team had to get past them. The match went the distance with our girls battling all the way to a 13–15 third set, showing the level this team is capable of competing at.

15-2’s captured 1st place, putting together a great run of volleyball and finishing the day on top. The team stayed composed in big moments and executed when it mattered most.

15-1’s finished 1st in the Silver Bracket at a two-day event, responding well after pool play and closing the weekend strong while playing some of their best volleyball of the tournament.

14-1’s put together a strong tournament run, finishing 2nd place after competing well all day. This group continues to show growth in their teamwork and confidence on the court. They played with great energy, stayed aggressive in big moments, and showed the kind of fight that keeps them in every match. It’s exciting to watch this team continue to build momentum as the season progresses.

14-2’s also had a great showing, finishing 2nd place and battling their way through a competitive bracket. This group continues to show toughness and resilience, fighting for every point and continuing to improve each week.

We’re proud of the effort across the club this weekend. The results are great, but what stands out most is seeing our athletes continue to improve, compete hard, and support each other every time they step on the court.

Back in the gym this week getting better.
