SEMO Swim Academy Teaching infants, toddlers, and children to swim, float, swim. Hi! My name is Ashlee Taylor, and I live in Bernie, MO.

I am a registered nurse and mother to two young boys. My oldest son completed a similar course at 15 months old, the peace of mind gained in knowing he was safe around water was remarkable. When my second son was born, we had relocated, and lessons were no longer available to him in reasonable driving distance. I decided to take action, make the trip down to Orlando, and train to become certified

by Pediaswim. My second son at 18 months old is now able to swim and float, and my peace of mind is back once again. I will be offering the same course in Southeast Missouri to bring peace of mind to parents just like myself.

Registration for Basic Training I is now open in Bernie, MO!! These lessons will be in the morning and begin May 26th. If you would like more information or are ready to register, please feel free to message me. This will be the only Basic Training offered for the 2026 season! We can’t wait to get started!

🦈💦Summer 2026☀️🐠

Summer will be here before we know it! This year lessons will begin in Bernie, May 26th (weather permitting)! It’s time to start planning to ensure your little one has a safe and fun summer!

If you swam with SSA last Summer, and want a refresher spot, please reach out to me so I can get you added to the list!

If you are new to SSA, and interested in Basic Training I, I will be posting in the next week about opening registration to begin those sign ups! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out!
