I am pleased to announce that I have been certified as a "Maitre d'Armes" (Master of Arms in all 3 weapons) by the United States Fencing Coaches Association. I will wear their patch with pride.

I just returned from the Pan American Veterans Fencing Championships (in Lima, Peru) where I earned 2 medals for TEAM USA. I won a Silver Medal in Veteran 60-and-over Men's Saber and a Bronze Medal in Veteran 40-and-over Men's Saber. It was especially sweet beating up on the 40-somethings (I am older than most of their fathers).
My thanks go out to my excellent personal coach, Georgy Parfenov and to my friends Jerry Duffey , Michael Malecki and all the gang at Medeo Fencing Club for their sweat and advice throughout my preparations for these events. I am especially thankful for the encouragement that I received from my wife, Kay Paragano.

Registration is now open for our High School/Pre-Collegiate Fencing Camp and our Middle School/HS Beginner Camp. We will have 2 different locations for our High School/Pre-Collegiate Fencing Camp -- The Pingry School (July 19 to July 24) and Drew University (July 25 to July 31). Our BEGINNER/Middle School Camp at the Pingry School runs July 19 to July 23. On-line Registration and more information are available at: www.drewrangersfencing.com

Our High School / Pre-College Camp will be held at both the Pingry School campus and the Drew University campus and is designed for students entering 9th grade through entering college with previous fencing experience.
