Ridge Youth Sports Inc. Bernards Township Recreational Youth Sports League Ridge Youth Sports, Inc. The program focuses on life & athletic skill development, personal growth & fun.

(RYSI) is a community based, child-focused organization, which provides instructional & competitive programs for the benefit & enjoyment of the children that participate. The goal of this organization is to instill life-long enjoyment and understanding of sports. The foundation of Ridge Youth Sports is based on the seven principles of Fair Play:

1. Make it Fun
2. Limit Standing Around
3. Everyone Plays
4. Teach Every Position to Every Participant
5. Emphasize the Fundamentals
6. Incorporate a Progression of Skill Development for Every Participant

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

This year, Ridge Youth Sports, Inc. (RYSI) will be offering three $500 scholarships for graduating seniors pursuing collegiate or trade education after high school.
The Ridge Youth Sports, Inc. – Charles J. Harcourt Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of
Chuck Harcourt, a founding member of RYSI, Basking Ridge Resident and loving husband and father who passed away in 2014.
The Kenneth V. Feeney Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of Ken Feeney, an original Board Member, football coach and loving husband and father who passed away in 2025.

Huge shout out to Andrew Taddeo, a homegrown talent from Basking Ridge who is about to hit the biggest stage in college football!

​Andrew's journey started right here in Basking Ridge playing youth football for RYSI and then starring on the gridiron for Ridge High School. From there, he took his talents to Colgate University.

​Now, this Saturday night, Andrew will be representing the James Madison Dukes as they take on the Oregon Ducks in the first round of the College Football Playoff!

​Let's go, Andrew! The entire Basking Ridge community and Ridge Football family will be cheering you on!

​Game: James Madison Dukes vs. Oregon Ducks

Support your players and bundle up with a Ridge Lacrosse Blanket! Each blanket is soft, printed on one side and solid white on the other. The blanket size is 60 x70 and costs $40 each. You may also send a check, payable to RYSI - 65 South Maple, 2nd Floor, Basking Ridge NJ 07920. Note RYSI LAX Blanket in the memo and BOYS or GIRLS or BOTH leagues on the check or in the Zelle memo section.

Order deadline is Wednesday, November 26th in order to have blankets arrive by Dec 19th. Makes a great gift!

The Ridge Youth Sports (RYSI) 5th Grade girls green team made history when they finished their undefeated 18-0 season by winning the Jersey Basketball League (JBL) Championship game on Saturday against Chatham Blue (37-33).
