Manzo Catching Instruction LLC Catching and Hitting Instruction for baseball players of all ages Coach Manzo enters his 27th season working with players of all ages.

He is currently a member of the CT Moose coaching staff and 1st as head coach of their 12u team. After a successful 19 year run with the Berlin American Legion baseball program where he accomplished six-zone championships, two state titles, and one Northeast Regional title resulting in an invitation to the American Legion Baseball World Series in Fargo, ND. During his tenure, Rob has mentored and

coached several players who have gone on to play professional baseball. In addition, Rob is most proud of assisting over 70 of his high school-aged players in continuing their baseball careers in the college ranks. Along with his youth baseball accomplishments, Rob has ten years of college coaching experience at Quinnipiac University (3) and Wesleyan University (7). Rob resides in Berlin with his wife Sarah, and his two boys Anthony (11), Walker (8).

As we hit the stretch run of our Summer seasons it’s a great time to reflect back and see what as a coach we can do to better prepare our players. Mid season player check ins are a valuable tool to make sure you are communicating with all of your players on their roles and progression. For me this is always a work in progress!!
