2026 Vincent Evans was recently named the 2026 Delaware Male Athlete of the Year by the Delaware Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association. Evans is committed to play baseball for Presbyterian (SC) in the D1 Big South Conference this fall.
Evans has been a three-sport superstar for Seaford, where he led the Blue Jays in football, basketball and baseball. Meat led the football team to the 1A state championship this past fall. He ran for 1,105 yards and scored 18 touchdowns. He was named the 1A Player of the Year.
On the basketball court, Evans was a big piece of the team’s 17-5 record and Henlopen South crown. His efforts on the court helped him take home second-team All State honors as a guard.
On the baseball field, Evans continued his success. He was an absolute force on the bump for Blue Jays. His upper 80s fastball, sharp curveball and fading change have been vital to his success. He’s swung it too and runs with the best of them in the outfield.
Evans played eight years with the Aces and multiple years with DCP 2026. Awesome job Meat!
