Hey Everyone! So by now we all know once the spring season begins and the weather starts to warm up in Connecticut what's about to happen. So let's just cut right to the chase. Your favorite miniature golf course, Safari Golf, is ready to open up it's gates for the 2026 season.

Due to the rough winter season, there was more work than usual that had to be done to fix up the course to make sure it is fully ready for opening day. Our target date to open for the season will be on Friday, April 3rd at noon (weather permitting).

Please keep in mind that during April, our operational hours vary. There will be 2 weeks of CT school April breaks, along with each weekend of the month, where we will be open into the evening. But all the other April weekdays, we will be open until late afternoon. We recommend calling us at 860-828-9800 for daily hours.

We hope everyone is as excited as we are that the 7 month miniature golf season is just on the verge of being underway. We are looking forward to seeing you all soon! ⛳️🦒🐘🦍🦁🐊🦓🦏🐒⛳️

Hey everyone! It's that time of year again. The start of the 2025 Safari Golf season is right around the corner. The goal was to have our opening day on Saturday, March 29th, at 11 am. Though, due to the cold and potentially rainy weekend, that opening date is up in the air. We will still try to open up this weekend, but please call us at 860-828-9800 to make sure we are open or not before you visit.

Also, keep in mind that during the weekdays in April, our hours of operation vary often. So please, once again, call us ahead of time or visit our main website at www.safarigolfct.com for more specific information about our seasonal hours.

Either way, get ready for more blue skies, fresh cut grass, and birds chirping, because the miniature golf season is upon us. Hey Everyone! I hope you had a great Winter, but it's finally that time of the year again. The season where we start to see more blue skies, fresh cut grass, birds chirping, and most importantly, Safari Golf opening up for the 2024 season! This coming Saturday, March 30th, at 12 pm, will be the official day and time that we open to the public.

Also, as a lifelong Connecticut resident, and to show our appreciation for the University of Connecticut basketball teams who are going strong in their respective tournaments, I'm going to have a sales promo for Saturday, March 30th. If you come to play at Safari Golf at any point on Saturday and wear any type of Uconn attire, you will be given a dollar off your game. And with Bristol's own, Donovan ClingKong, and crew looking like they are fully primed to have another parade in Hartford in a few weeks. Along with the Uconn women looking like they can make a title run too, what better way is there to start a Saturday than to enjoy a nice discounted game of Safari Golf before watching your favorite teams compete for another title.

And as you can see, one of our monkeys hand didn't hold up too well in the Winter season. However, he is a tough little fella, and I'll have him stitched up soon lol. Looking forward to seeing all you awesome customers and smiling faces on Saturday, Happy Spring! ⛳️🦍🦁🦏🦒🦓🐒🐊🐘⛳️

Hey Everyone, Great News! Safari Golf will officially be open for the 2023 season on Saturday, April 1st, at 11 am (weather permitting of course). So mark your calendars, because golf season is back underway!

Also, we will have an opening day special as well. To show our appreciation for the Home State Connecticut Huskies Basketball team on their Final 4 berth and quest for a Title, any customer who wears a Uconn Husky shirt or hat on Saturday, April 1st, will be given a dollar off their round. So before you tune into the big game on Saturday night, come to Safari Golf while rocking your favorite Uconn Husky gear and receive a discount on your round with the people you love most. I mean, what better way to start off your Saturday than that?

I can't explain how excited I am for the 2023 season to get underway. And most importantly, I can't wait to see all you fantastic customers who support Safari Golf year in and year out. We will continue to work as hard as we can to make this the best miniature golf course possible for you to constantly enjoy. See you all soon!

Proud to announce that Safari Golf was voted the #1 rated Miniature Golf Course in the State of Connecticut for the 2022 year. Thank you to all the voters of Connecticut Magazine who picked us, much love.

All you fantastic customers out there are always very complimentary to me about the golf course when you see me there, and I greatly appreciate it. But the most credit goes to my Father, Tom, who made Safari Golf happen in 1985, and has worked very hard for the past 3+ decades to make Safari Golf what it is today. I'm just the one who is following his playbook. I also want to thank my Mother, Joyce, who does all the work behind the scenes. She does the scheduling, payroll, tests the water monthly, and does plenty of other jobs that are necessary to help this business run efficiently. This is a true team effort, and I'm happy to be a part of it.

And with that said, that'll wrap up the 2022 season for Safari Golf. It was another epic year, and I have a few ideas in mind during the off-season that I'm going to work on to upgrade this course and make it even better. I hope all of you enjoy the Winter season, and can't wait to see you all next April!

I've gotten plenty of requests over the years for these, and your wishes will now come true 🙂. Within the next couple of weeks, brand new Safari Golf T-Shirts will now be available for sale at Safari Golf. We will have Forest Green, Black, and White in all various sizes.

Hey Everyone! I'm sure you've all been in a deep depression since November, not only because of the cold Winter season, but because you weren't able to attend your favorite Miniature Golf Course since then. And I completely understand that feeling, but fortunately, that will all change very soon. Starting on Saturday, April 2nd, Safari Golf will officially be open for the 2022 season.

2021 was a year for the ages for Safari Golf. But I'm confident with more good behavior from Mother Nature throughout the Spring and Summer, that 2022 will be even better. So make sure you all tell your family members and friends that the #1 rated Miniature Golf Course in Connecticut is ready to make it's 2022 return. Can't wait until I get to see all your smiling faces on April 2nd and beyond!

Another year in the books, and another great Trunk or Treat event at Safari Golf. It was great to see all the young children in their costumes enjoying free miniature golf, free candy, and free pizza with their friends and families. I'd like to thank our primary event planner, Maurice Humphrey, for all the hard work and time that he put into this event. I would also like to thank Bill's Pizza owner, Peter Ladas, for donating multiple sheet pizzas. And I would also like to thank all the other volunteers who took the time to contribute to this event to help make it such a success.

And that will officially close out the 2021 season for Safari Golf. In the 36 year history of the golf course, thanks to all you fantastic customers, this happened to be the greatest season yet. I hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe winter, and I can't wait to see you all back at the golf course ready to kick off the season in April of 2022.

Today marked the 3rd Saturday of July, which means the annual Safari Golf Masters took place. This year 19 intense competitors had their sights set on capturing the Green Jacket and the Glass Ball.

Everyone had their moments, but today was Mike Coss' day. Right from the start, Mike had that look of determination in his eye and carried a swagger throughout the course that read "This may be Tom Bukowski's course, but for the next couple of hours, it's going to be mine." By the end of hole 18, the mission was accomplished. Much like Tiger Woods in the 1st decade of this century, this was a dominant performance from start to finish and it almost seemed like everyone else was simply playing for 2nd place.

Congrats to Mike for taking home the 2021 Green Jacket and Glass Ball. Thank you to my cousin, Tyler Bouchard, for starting up this tournament years back, and thank you to everyone else who participated.
