Get creative and make something special! Kids will have fun exploring different art projects, painting, and crafts while letting their creativity shine.

📚 Summer Folktales & Fairy Tales Camp-August 19th and/or 20th
Let imaginations run wild with magical stories, beloved fairy tales, creative activities, and plenty of summer fun! A perfect camp for storytellers and dreamers. 🧚‍♀️🏰

🧚‍♀️✨ Step into a World of Magic! ✨🧚‍♂️

Join Berlin Parks & Recreation for our Folktales & Fairytales Camp on August 19 and/or August 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Community Center!

Children who have completed grades K–5 will enjoy a magical day filled with stories from around the world, creative projects, dramatic play, movement, and imaginative fun. Every story sparks creativity, and every child becomes part of the adventure!

🎒 Please bring a snack, lunch, water bottle, and a smock.

💲 Residents: $125/day | Non-Residents: $135/day

🎨 Get Creative with Painting & Crafts with Peggy! 🎨

Calling all young artists! Join us on Monday, August 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Community Center for a fun-filled day of painting, crafts, and creativity. Students who have completed grades K–5 will enjoy making exciting projects using paint, clay, foam, stickers, and more!

🎒 Please bring a snack, lunch, water bottle, and a smock or old shirt, as acrylic paint may not wash out of clothing.

💲Residents: $80 | Non-Residents: $90

🏊‍♀️ Become a Certified Lifeguard This Summer! 🛟

Have you ever thought about becoming a lifeguard? Now's your chance! The Berlin Parks and Recreation Department is offering an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Class beginning Monday, July 27. Deadline to register is Thursday, July 23 at 7 p.m.

Participants will learn lifesaving skills including:
✅ Water rescues
✅ CPR & AED
✅ First Aid
✅ Lifeguarding techniques and emergency response

Class Details:
📍 Percival Pool or Berlin Community Center
📅 Monday–Friday for two weeks
⏰ 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Additional times may be added.)

Requirements:
• Must be at least 15 years old
• Must successfully complete the required swimming prerequisite skills assessment
• Attendance at all classes is required

💲 Fees:
• Residents: $165
• Non-Residents: $175

📝 Registration is open now for residents! Non-resident registration begins July 13. Register through WebTrac or stop by the Parks and Recreation Office during normal business hours.
