Thank you Rebecca Hardy! Your hard work, dedication, adaptability, generosity, empathy, social media acumen, genuine love of the creek and all of it’s flora and fauna, love of Finn, professional and engaging interaction with our guests and the team, and hundreds of miles paddled helped make our little Adventure a resounding success. We look forward to seeing what you do next, and we know you will be amazing with whatever path you choose. You will forever be our creek daughter. 😍

As we begin to close the chapter on Ayers Creek Adventures after 15 unforgettable years, our hearts are full of gratitude as well as sadness. What we will miss the most are the people we’ve met along the way.

Countless school field trips, summer camps, family reunions and family vacations, full moon bonfires, proposals and baby announcements, bringing your dogs with you, our hard working staff, and countless friends and family who have supported us…YOU are who we want to remember.

We’ll deeply miss the moments spent with each of you—the excitement on your faces as you launched into the creek, the shared love of the outdoors, and the community we built together.

Though our time together on the water is ending, the memories will stay with us forever. The creek may be quiet, but the memories will ripple on forever.

Thank you for allowing us to share our love of the natural world with you. We hope that we made learning fun. Keep paddling, keep exploring, keep adventuring and know that you will forever be in our hearts.

Thank you,
Ayers Creek Adventures Team 🛶

🐾 Happy Final Finn Friday from your favorite Creek Critter, Finn 🐾

Hey friends, it’s Finn here—your trusty kayak co-captain, greeter dog, and professional dock sitter.

As much as I love greeting you all at your cars, showing you the way to our shop, and eagerly awaiting your return from your creek paddles, it’s time for me to hang up my life vest and enjoy some well-deserved naps in the sun, yard playing, and some well deserved family time. 🐕‍🦺✨

I've had the best time paddling with all of you, sniffing all your smells from home, and making memories on the water. From chasing sticks along the shoreline to watching you all master those kayaks, it's been a journey full of wagging tails and wet noses.

But just because I'm stepping back doesn't mean the adventure ends! I’ll still be here, keeping an eye on things, watching the changing tides, and cheering you on from afar. Keep paddling, keep exploring, and keep the creek spirit alive in other places. 🌊💛

Thank you for all the treats, belly rubs, and love along the way. I’ll miss seeing you out on the water, and the creek will miss you 🐾

Thanks for the years of adventures,
Captain Finn 🐕‍🦺

Moon jellies (Aurelia aurita) are a common species of jellyfish found in coastal and brackish waters including estuaries, bays and creeks such as Ayers Creek.

Recognizable by their translucent, saucer-shaped bell and four horseshoe-shaped go**ds, they typically grow 10-16 inches in diameter. Their sting is mild and harmless to humans.

Moon jellies feed on plankton using their tentacles and oral arms. Known for their bioluminescence, they can sometimes glow at night. These jellyfish are often found in large groups, called "blooms," and their gentle pulsing motion allows them to drift with ocean currents.

Celebrating friendship and the great outdoors one paddle at a time.

We've had the pleasure of having Kelli Anders and Holiday Johnson teach Paddleboard Yoga classes on our creek over the past few years. You both brought confidence, strength, and a sense of community to everyone who participated. Thank you for introducing something fresh and exciting for the paddlers of Ayers Creek Adventures. Your classes were a highlight that people eagerly anticipated every Thursday.
