Well everyone. I have good news and bad. Good news is I am starting a new job Monday that I believe I am going to love. Unfortunately it's more time and I will not in good conscience start the bait shop. I apologize to all of you who were looking forward to this, but I would not be able to have it open at the times needed hence making it not convenient for you or cost effective for me. Maybe in the future I can figure it out. Thank you all

Hello everyone and thank you for following my page. As I stated before, I am just starting out, but want to keep everyone updated. I will be buying a 12 by 24 ft shed to run mu business from. I will also be raising my own night crawlers and meal worms. On top of that I will be making a lot of my own jigs, soft baits, and combos. My nephew and I will be tying flies as well (he is much better than I) I make my own tip ups of different styles. I will post a video of one of more recent prototypes. Again thank you all and I hope to hetbthe business up and running asap.

Good morning all and Happy New Year. I've started my official page for my up and coming business. Bob's Bobbers, bait, tackle, and more.
I am not up and running yet and probably won't be until late spring or summer. This is going to be more of a hobby for me, but also to help the surrounding fellow fisherman /woman.
I am going to do my best to keep costs as low as I can while following state and federal regulations. I will be raising my own night crawlers, and meal worms. I will also be making a lot of my own soft lures and jigs etc...
My other reason for starting my page way ahead of opening is to receive advice, input, etc.... from all who are interested in purchasing my items.
I myself am an avid fisherman of all kinds. So I guess you can say I know a bit about it, but I am always willing to learn and improve. The one area I am not too familiar with is fishing the big lakes. I am located not far from the 4 corners in Richford, in which many travel through to Cayuga Lake. I would like to learn more of what I should carry in my inventory to satisfy these customer needs.
I am willing to deliver, possible additional charges will occur depending on distance. I also plan on having a certain amount of gear for sale with me while I am fishing. Especially ice fishing.
Please don't hesitate to text, call, or email questions, advice, etc.... I want this to be successful so the customers can purchase items without paying an arm and a leg and without having to travel out of the way.
My hours will tentatively be Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 8 pm, (but i am awake by 3am for the early risers youd just have to message me)Friday-Sunday pretty much all day. I will post changes as needed. If I'm fishing I will post my location.

With all that said. Once I get going I will be 100 percent dedicated to my customers. There will be a fridge with night crawlers and meal worms when I'm not open. Again, if I'm not there please call or text.

On a side note, this has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. My Grandfather had a bait shop in chenango forks when my dad was young. I heard all the stories. This will be in memory, of my grandfather, my dad, and my Uncle Rick. All have passed away, and all were avid fisherman.
