Thank you to Steve Winjet and Katy of SBG Edmonton for hosting my seminar this past weekend. It was a pleasure reconnecting with old friends and making new friends. The welcoming atmosphere and huge sense of community at the gym really shows what a great environment Steve and Katy built. I’m grateful for the hospitality and the opportunity to share the mats with everyone.

And that’s day 2 with coach Lily from today Lily showed practical submissions entries and common positions to follow up throws and take downs she shared on Day 1. Lily is a down to earth, genuine and knowledgeable coach. If you ever get the chance to learn from Lily jump on the opportunity.

This weekend we had Coach Steve Winjet and Coach Katy Winjet teach a fantastic seminar on back control and 50/50 guard. Everyone had a great time meeting and learning from them. Come back again soon!

They all have demonstrated consistency in training, even during adversity in their own busy lives off the mat - work, parenthood, injuries etc. After completing their traditional iron man ~ rolling with over 30 individuals in attendance! ~ Coach Lily tied their new belts and we all celebrated as a community! 🥋🦍
