Beginner/Intermediate Modern with Emma Andre
Thursdays, 6:30 - 7:45pm with Live Accompaniment by Daniel Berkman!
Join Emma to explore the foundations of modern technique, drawing inspiration from Horton, Graham, Limón, and Release Techniques. This class is a great introduction for dancers looking to explore a new genre of movement, as well as dancers who want to refine the basics of their modern dance technique. Participants will embody rigor, joy, expansivity, and play through movement.
Emma Andre studied contemporary dance with an emphasis in ballet at The Boston Conservatory, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2021. Emma is a member of San Francisco dance companies Deborah Slater Dance Theater and David Herrera Performance Company. They also choreograph and perform their own work around the Bay Area.

Beginner/Intermediate Ballet with Drew Sandbulte
Saturdays, 10:00 - 11:30am with Live Accompaniment by Federico Ramirez!
This Beginner/Intermediate class prioritizes stretching, lengthening and breath. Drew’s organic approach to teaching ballet will grow your technique while building the inner muscles to help support daily movement. Drew believes that ballet class is a wonderful way to step away from busy life to be present in the moment, as a form of wellness for body and mind. Join him for class on Saturday mornings with live cello accompaniment by Federico Ramirez!
Drew Sandbulte received his professional training from The Juilliard School. Upon graduating, he went on to perform with Les Ballet Jazz de Montreal, ezdanza (Montreal), and Okulamba Dance Theatre (Kampala, Uganda). He has been on faculty at New World School of the Arts, The Kampala Ballet School, and State Street Ballet, among others.
