Smoky summit camps with the 2Lite. Despite its ultralight weight (2lbs 10oz), the 2Lite is strong as an ox, perfect for those alpine sunset and sunrise views. When pitched in-line with the dominant wind direction, this design distributes the load evenly along the strongest grain of the 10D Nylon 66 Ripstop Sil/Sil fly. This greatly reduces the strain in the DAC featherlite poles. When you pair that design with innovative strength-boosting features like the internal tensioning system and toggles which attach the fly directly to the poles to reduce buffeting, you get an insanely strong 2p tent.
