"We spent nearly three weeks (!) in Alaska this spring, and the weather kept things interesting. It snowed so much it was bananas! We shoveled a lot… and I mean a lot.

Very grateful to have had solid tents with us. None of them broke and the dome tent became the heart of camp where we could all hang out and have many Swedish Fika each day and wait out the storms together.

Having an individual tent almost felt like luxury. I’m usually used to sleeping maybe a little too close to my tent mates on these kinds of expeditions, so having some personal space was a pretty nice upgrade."

Dang, thats a Nice Flat Tarp. When ultralight is the name of the game, and you need something that is versatile, easy to pitch, and will protect you in a pinch, the NFT is your best friend. At 12.3oz (349g) on its own, and 23.5oz (667g) when combined with the SplitWing Mesh body, the NFT can truly meet all of your thru-hiking needs. The weather can be brutal in one of the southernmost islands of Patagonia, only about 600 miles away from Antarctica.

When we designed the Portal 2, we wanted to make a sub-3lb, 3-season backpacking tent that could be pushed into 4-season use. We believe we struck the right balance between weight, durability, and livability, while making no compromises on the strength and quality of the tent. It's always affirming that we are on the right path when we get recognition like this. At just 1lb 11.4oz min weight and a paper-towel roll packed size, it might seem like the Cinder Cone 4P Pyramid is a bit scant for real backcountry expeditions. Showed us that couldn't be further from the truth, pushing his Cinder Cone into service deep into the Brooks Range. Pyramids are becoming quite popular for a reason, and we think you will agree that this is one of the best on the market.
