Today in our Get to Know Coach series, we’re proud to spotlight Coach Omar!

Since joining Eastshore Alliance, Coach Omar has made a tremendous positive impact on our players both on and off the field. His passion for player development, leadership, and commitment to excellence continue to help our athletes grow and succeed.

🏆 Most recently, Coach Omar led our 2009G APX team to a championship victory at the Surf Cup 2026 in Del Mar, California, an outstanding achievement that reflects the hard work and dedication of both the players and coaching staff.

📚 Coach Omar holds a USSF National D License, bringing valuable knowledge, experience, and a player-centered approach to every training session and match.

We are grateful to have Coach Omar as part of the Eastshore Alliance family and look forward to seeing the continued success and development of our players under his guidance.

🏆 SURF CUP CHAMPIONS! 🏆

THEY DID IT! 💙💛

Our 2009G APX team are the 2026 Surf Cup Champions after an incredible 1–0 victory over Elite Development Academy in the championship match in Del Mar, California!

What a weekend for these remarkable young women. Through every challenge, they demonstrated resilience, determination, teamwork, and heart. Their commitment to one another and relentless pursuit of excellence led them all the way to the top.

After advancing through a highly competitive field, the girls saved their best for last and delivered a championship performance when it mattered most.

A Hard-Fought Battle in ECNL Playoffs ⚽

Our 2012 Boys left everything on the field today in the ECNL Playoffs in Norco, California.

In a highly competitive match against Legends FC, the boys battled for every ball, defended with determination, and earned a hard-fought 0–0 draw through regulation time. The match ultimately came down to penalties, where Legends FC edged us 4–2.

While the result wasn’t what we hoped for, this group showed tremendous character, resilience, and heart against one of the top teams in the competition. Moments like these are part of the journey, and we know this experience will only make them stronger.

We are incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship displayed by every player throughout the match and throughout the season.

Keep your heads high, boys. The future is bright. 💪

The girls battled hard and earned a thrilling 2–1 victory over SoCal Blaze this morning at Surf Cup in Del Mar, California, securing their spot in the CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL! 🏆🔥

This team has shown incredible heart, resilience, and determination throughout the weekend, and their hard work continues to pay off. From the group stage to the semifinals, the girls have risen to every challenge and are now just one win away from a Surf Cup title.

🔥 SEMIFINAL BOUND! 🔥

Our 2009G APX squad earned a hard-fought 2–0 victory over Inland Surf SC today at the Surf Cup in Del Mar, California! 💙⚽

With the win, the girls advance to the Surf Cup Semifinals and will take on the Group C winner tomorrow, June 15, at 9:30 AM.

The team has shown tremendous determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament, and we’re excited for the next challenge.

Let’s keep the momentum going and cheer on our girls as they continue their Surf Cup run!

Coach Rigo will be working on the boys’ side, where he is dedicated to helping our athletes reach their full potential while fostering a love for the game.
