Friends, family, people I love, for some time now Iāve been slowly moving towards my certification in Pilates. Iāve also been building my own Pilates business -
ImmaQi (eema.chee) Pilates
Throughout this process, Iāve learned over and over, there is no such thing as perfection. (Can I say that again a little louder?! There is no such thing as perfection!)
If my expectation for myself and my business is only perfection, I lose sight of the bigger picture, and the vision for my business, for my life, never makes it off the page.
I choose instead, to step forward through my fear of not having it all āperfectā all āfinishedā and moving from where I am.
I am choosing to Share where I am now, and inviting you to share my journey instead of sharing the final result all dolled up with a bow on top. I believe the beauty is truly in all that is messy and hard. Because thatās life, is it not?!
And As I am saying all this, I realize this mindset is what I want ImmaQi to embody and express:
This is a Pilates practice that is more than just a workout for your body. It is a call to action: for self care, for acknowledging your journey, for finding inner peace or maybe just acceptance and ultimately love.
