That’s a wrap on our most challenging, most emotional, most trying season yet!

But, as they say, “pressure makes diamonds”.

Season 10 will be the best one yet!

As always, we are so proud of our athletes! They’re incredible!

Receiving a cancer diagnosis for a child is a tragedy no parent should face, and the child themselves should not have to fight alone. Layla will have our collective support every step of the way. T-shirts are available for purchase, and monetary donations are also appreciated to offset future expenses. I invite my clients to contribute to Layla's comfort and style with donations of hair bands, hats, and similar items, reminding her that she's not alone. Donations can be dropped off at the salon.

Today is the day!

Cheer clinic & Showcase information! Please read entire post!

💜 Cheer clinic will run Monday-Wednesday at the following times:

4-7 years old: 5:30-6:30pm
8-11 years old: 6:30-7:30pm
12-18 years old: 7:30-8:30pm

Clinic participants will perform at our annual showcase this Saturday & Sunday 4/11 & 4/12!

Arrival for clinic participants is 10:45am on both days, doors open at 11, show begins at 11:15! Clinic performances will be first. Your child is free to go after they perform if they have other obligations. If not, please stick around and watch our Empire teams perform!

💚If you are unsure which age group your child should be attending, please reach out!

💜Please make sure your child brings a water bottle with them.

💚 Please make sure your child is dressed in athletic clothing- comfortable shorts or leggings, t shirt or tank top.. no jeans, bathing suits, tutus, dresses, etc.

💜 PLEASE have your child bring a clean pair of tennis shoes into the building. Shoes may not be worn through the parking lot and then on the cheer floor. We are trying to avoid tracking sand and/or mud onto the cheer floor. Crocs, slides, slippers may be worn into the building, but must be replaced with tennis shoes to participate in clinic.

💚 Due to limited space, parents will not be permitted in the gym during clinic. You may sit in the lobby, in your car, bring a lawn chair and hang out outside.. or you may choose to run errands for an hour. Please make sure you are at the gym by your child’s end time to pick them up.

💜 Directions to the gym:

From town- take 522 towards Wi******er. Just past Dawson’s parking lot, before the soccer field, turn left onto Cannery Rd. (Right past the Empire sign) Follow the gravel road all the way back. Our building is the very first door.

From Wi******er- take 522 towards Berkeley.. just past the soccer fields, before Dawson’s, turn right onto Cannery Rd. (Just before the Empire sign) Follow the gravel road all the way back. Our building is the very first door.

💚 Please be courteous of others in the parking lot! PLEASE drive SLOWLY through the parking lot especially between age groups as children will be entering/exiting the building & walking to/from their cars.

💜The Empire break room will be available to Empire athletes ONLY. Please do not go into the break room or down the hallway. If you have small children with you, please make sure they are not going down the hall or running through the parking lot.

Today was a tough day.

Sometimes, everything goes perfectly- stunts hit, tumbling is perfect, confidence is high..

And on a rare occasion, we have a day like today.. where the early morning/long day takes its toll, nerves get the better of us, and things are less than perfect.

Days like today are important for growth.. an opportunity to learn from our mistakes and come back even stronger.

To our athletes- one tough competition doesn’t define you. Get back in the gym next week and continue to work hard. You got this!

Majesty- great job today! Confidence is growing and we love watching them come out of their shell!

Radiance- 8th place.. this was a tough one, but they’ll bounce back! Keep working hard, girls!

Reign- 2nd place.. so much confidence in today’s performance! Back to work this week to tighten some things up!

Dynasty- 3rd place.. nerves were obvious today but this group of kids won’t quit. Remember- this doesn’t define you. You got this.

Royalty- 1st place! Not a perfect performance, but still pretty good! Congratulations on the win! Can’t wait to fine tune a few things before the next comp!

Royal Force- 2nd place- highest score of the gym today and a beautiful performance. As a first year level 4, they’re doing amazing!

Raeha Sunshine- quite literally stole the show! Our very first Cheerabilities team had the entire arena cheering! So proud!

Thank you to our families for enduring the long day, the crowded venue, and the crappy weather. We couldn’t do this without you! 💜💚
