Former Post 60 Knight’s Mason Everhart putting in work with the WVUTech Golden Bears. Their first and only home, fall game was against the Glenville State Pioneers. Mason caught 4 innings and was on the receiving end for a two way right hander, and a senior lefty from Canada. His final two innings were catching Frankfort HS/Potomac Valley Post 64 Alumni Cam Lynch. Mason only got one at bat and singled to left/center field and got “sniped” as he rounded first due to the lateness and dew setting on the turf field.🤣 Love to see these present and former Post 60 Knights pursuing their dreams of playing baseball at the next level.

Yesterday afternoon your Post 60 Knights (19-9) 2025 summer season came to an end. They were handed their second loss of the WV ALB State Tournament by Area 4 Rival Berkeley Post 14. It was a great season filled with goals set and goals met. It was a very special summer and one that exceeded expectations for only being a 3/year old program. We are so proud of all the accomplishments of our players and coaches. They did a tremendous job this year! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Knights’ families, friends, and fans for their outstanding support this summer. We’d also like to thank Alderton-Dawson Post 60 and Auxiliary Unit 60 for their unwavering commitment and support for the program this season. We’d like to recognize and thank WEPM Panhandle Sports Live and The “Sports Mix” WRNR Radio & TV10 for their fine coverage and highlighting our American Legion Baseball Teams here in the Eastern Panhandle. We would also like to thank the coaching staffs and administrators at Hedgesville, Spring Mills, and Berkeley Springs High Schools for their continued support every year to help build this program. Also a shout out and huge thank you to Hedgesville Little League for their flexibility and generosity this season. It was definitely a pleasure working together with you all to provide a place where the team could play some home games and host the Area 4 Tournament. Last but not least we would like to thank all business, individual, and community sponsors who so generously gave of their time, talents, and resources to help make this such a memorable season for our players. Your efforts are what make this area the greatest place to grow up in West Virginia! Until next time…….Go Knights!!
