Looking for a fun, competitive, and positive basketball experience for your child this summer? Join us this June for three nights of skill development, learning, and high-energy basketball action at the Berea Rec Center!

This camp is designed for boys and girls entering 3rd–8th grade and welcomes all skill levels. Whether your athlete is just starting or looking to sharpen their game, they’ll learn the fundamentals the right way while having FUN!

Congratulations to our 2026 Safety Town Graduates! The children learned so much this week and had wonderful experiences thanks to our incredible teacher McKenzie Anderson and Officer Matt.

We truly appreciate everyone who helped make this program possible! Thank you to Berea ARF for teaching our students about animal safety, Chief Dan Clark and the Berea Police Department and Chief Ledwell and the Berea Fire Department for providing our field trips and teaching the children important safety lessons.

This program would not be possible without the support of our amazing volunteers, rec center staff, Mayor Kleem, Berea City School District’s Transportation Department, and a huge shout-out to Berea Kiwanis for sponsoring our Safety Town program!😊🚦🎓

Our legendary “Mr. Terry” retired today! We will miss him greatly, but know he’ll still be around a few days a week on the other side of the rec as a lifetime member- talking Cleveland sports, playing pickleball, and working out. Please help us in wishing him well!
