Silver Creek Bike Park Update:

You may have guessed: weather has impacted the trails. Thank you to the Silver Creek Trail Crew for reporting on conditions.

Please ride with extra care—expect ruts, branches, trees, and other debris left from recent storms. We are aware there are several trees down, and Coyote Run (jumpline) is CLOSED due to washout.

Please yield to volunteers who may be working on the trails, and respect trail-closure flags and posted closures so repairs can happen safely.

Here's how you can help until then:
If you see a rut, smash it flat.
If you see water standing, clear out the drain.
If there are trees over the trail or blocking it, please message the page!

Unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating for outdoor activities today, and practice is cancelled due to thunderstorms and straight-line wind predictions.

Student-athletes:
If you have the option to train indoors, please pedal for 40 minutes.

Mad Hatters mountain bike team took time during practice Thursday to give a little love to the trails we use. The team moved trees, lopped branches, cleaned out drains, and put in water bars for erosion prevention at silvercreekbikepark in Berea, KY.

We are a youth development non-profit which means we aren’t like other youth sports. Student-athletes learn to steward, advocate, and protect community resources like these natural surface trails alongside their peers.

The Mad Hatter team was out in full force to deliver A LOT of Trail Love to our weather-worn trails at silvercreekbikepark. As part of the Teen Trail Corps (TTC) initiative, student-athletes learn how to steward the trails they ride, advocate for those trails, and be a part of a community bigger than themselves.

So proud of their work. 🙌🏻
