It's race week.

Here is the whole weekend, hour by hour — screenshot cards two through four so you have them!

Friday the 25th is practice, seeding and check-in, with music and a jump jam at camp from five. If you are racing downhill, seeding is three to five and it sets your Saturday.

Saturday the 26th is the downhill on DH2, done by one, plus enduro check-in and practice shuttles to Passion Play from noon to 4pm. There is a hangout and live music in town from six.

Sunday the 27th is the enduro, with stages at Leatherwood and Passion Play. Beginners race Leatherwood only. Waves from nine, awards at four.

Dry camping is $25 a spot inside the venue. Downtown is five miles away.

Last card is the one to read twice: online registration closes Friday at 8 PM, on-site for Sunday’s enduro is open Saturday 10 to 4, and there is nothing on Sunday.

Two of the twenty downhill categories are Beginner. They exist because we all gotta start somewhere!

If you have been curious about downhill racing, Saturday the 26th is a great place to find out. It is one course — DH2 (OGre Run) — and it’s gonna be a rad day! Practice and seeding Friday afternoon. Late practice to warmup and race runs before noon. Awards are at 1pm.

It is a separate entry for Sunday. So you can come for just Saturday or do both!

About half the field at Round 1 was under nineteen. There were riders from seven all the way up to sixty-three! So you’re not too young or too old to join us - No Excuses!

The bike you already ride is very likely fine. A full-face helmet and pads are recommended. They have been running downhill here since 2005 so your modern trail-bike is likely 10 times better than the technology back then!

The Eureka Enduro is Round 2 of 4 and it is the biggest day of the festival weekend!

Stages include two trail-systems. Lake Leatherwood and Passion Play. Every category except Beginner races both. Beginners only race Leatherwood — Super fun day with the same enduro vibe!

Chip pickup starts at 8am for Wave 1 with late check-in if you need it. Racing starts at 9am and finishes by 3:30. Awards are at 4pm. Stages are timed and the transfers are party pace with your homies!

Practice is Saturday. Shuttles will run to Passion Play from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday afternoon which is worth knowing before you plan the drive up. Self shuttling is allowed on practice day with the exclusion of using the Passion Play ‘Holy Land Road’ (No Exceptions!).

Twenty-eight categories. Pro through Beginner, Juniors 14U and 15–18, Masters for 50+ and eMTB across Expert, Intermediate and Beginner. Beginner is $108, Intermediate $120, Expert $132, juniors $96.

Saturday’s downhill happens on one course: DH2 (OGre Run) at Lake Leatherwood.

Here’s how the event will run.

Friday the venue opens at noon, open practice runs until 3pm and seeding runs 3-5. That is what sets your Saturday start order. If you are racing downhill, Friday matters. If you do not have a seeding run you will be placed in the front of the start order. Saturday is check-in and timing chip pickup at 8am, final practice 8:30-10, staging at 10 and race runs 10:30-12. Awards are at 1pm.

Then you have the rest of the day. Most people spend it relaxing, practicing for enduro, or downtown in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Twenty categories. Pro, Expert, Intermediate, Beginner, Juniors 14U and 15–18, and E-Bike fields in Expert, Intermediate and Beginner. Adult entries are $84 and juniors are $72.

This is the first round of the ARDH event of 2026, and downhill has been part of this festival since 2005. The second and last ARDH event is at OZ Trails Bike Park, December 4-5.

Two gravity events. One epic weekend. Compete in one, or throw down and do them both!

Saturday is Arkansas Downhill #1 taking place on the legendary DH2 (OGre Run) at Lake Leatherwood. There will be open practice and seeding runs Friday afternoon. On Saturday there will be a practice opportunity and then we’ll stage everyone by seeding times starting at 10am with race runs between 10:30 and Noon. Awards are at 1pm.

Twenty categories. Everything goes down on the OG course that started the DH comp for Fat Tire Fest!

Sunday is Round 2 of the 2026 Arkansas Enduro Series presented by Monster Energy. Sunday includes enduro stages at Lake Leatherwood and at Passion Play, where every category races both except for Beginner who will only do the Leatherwood stages. Chip pickup starts at 8am for Experts and Pros. Wave #1 rolls out at 9am. Awards at 4pm. Twenty-eight categories. Stages are timed and transfers are with your homies.

Round 2 is Sep 25–27 at Lake Leatherwood in Eureka Springs, and we need your help make it special.

Course marshals, timing, check-in, water stops — no experience needed, we'll show you the job.

Two days of racing means there's a shift that fits your weekend.

Work one day and you earn a free entry to any AES event this season.

Here's the important part. The entry is yours to give. If you don't race, that's OK. Volunteer and hand it to your racer — or a kid, a partner, or a friend.

The Eureka Springs Fat Tire Festival returns with two days of gravity racing on September 25-27

Saturday is the first ARDH event of 2026 on DH2 (OGre Run) at Lake Leatherwood! Twenty categories. Practice and seeding is Friday afternoon. Saturday morning we will have a short practice window and then roll into final race runs and be done by noon. Awards are at 1pm.

Sunday is Round 2 of the Arkansas Enduro Series. Stages at Lake Leatherwood and the Great Passion Play, twenty-eight categories, Wave #1 leaves at 9am with a shuttle from Leatherwood to Passion Play to start their journey with an iconic point-to-point course! Awards are at 4pm.

Lake Leatherwood is the largest city park in Arkansas. 1,600 acres, 25+ miles of trail, and only five miles from downtown Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Race one event, or do both, or participate in the Just Ride category for $36 and ride the same trails with none of the pressure of being timed. Dry camping at Leatherwood is $25 a spot.
