A little update from behind the scenes at Borderless 💙
If you've reached out recently and haven't heard back from me yet, please know I see you, and I promise I haven't forgotten about you!
the last few months have been full. Between moving Borderless into our new facility, caring for the horses, teaching, training, personal life challenges, and handling all of the very unglamorous things that come with building something from the ground up, my inbox has gotten away from me more than I'd like to admit.
But there is also something bigger happening behind the scenes. For a long time, I've wanted Borderless to be more than a place where you come for an hour-long riding lesson and go home. I wanted to build a place where people can actually learn horses. Not just riding, not just groundwork. When you can come spend time at the barn, ask questions, learn about behavior and training, understand movement, hoof care, practice your skills, meet other horse people AND have access to education that can sometimes feel incredibly difficult to find unless you already know where to look. PHEW. That was a run on sentence. ;)
I'm happy to say that we are finally close to making that happen. Expect to see over the next few months that I'll be rolling out some things I've been quietly working towards for a long time:
⭐Our first Borderless Open House
⭐A new Community Membership for people who want more time, education, practice and connection at the barn
⭐Hands-on Labs, Clinics and Workshops covering everything from horsemanship and behavior, to anatomy, movement, hoof care, nervous-system literacy, groundwork, riding and more.
⭐New opportunities for people who want to learn but don't necessarily fit into a traditional-lesson box.
There is one more project very close to my heart that I've been working on behind the scenes, one that is focused on making good horsemanship, education and support more accessible to the people and horses in our community who need it. But that one deserves its own announcement. 💙
So if my replies have been slower than usually lately, thank you for giving me a little grace. I'm still a very small business with one person wearing an unreasonable number of hats🤣 My poor husband has had to adapt to the horse lifestyle abruptly and I could not do this without him! But just know I'm working hard to build the infrastructure that will allow Borderless to serve more people, more horses, and our community better without losing the individual care that made this program what it is.
There is a LOT coming.
And I'm soooo excited to finally start sharing it with you.
