Ok soapbox time! 😅
Did you know there are apps/filters that can digitally change how your body looks?! 😵💫 Whole face filters have become more common (yes, I will call myself out-I’ll use a natural face filter because listen…we’re covering up those unwanted wrinkles yall!) but I would NEVER use a filter to make my body look different than it actually does - especially in the line of work I’m in. & these body-altering filters are increasingly being used in fitness content-& that can create unrealistic expectations.
In the fitness space especially, it’s important to be transparent. I’ll always choose honesty over illusion. What you see on this page or my personal page is the result of consistent training, proper nutrition, & time - no filters, no shortcuts.
I do want to acknowledge something though that often gets overlooked: genetics do play a role. As most of you know, I started with more natural glute development than some, & that gave me a foundation.
However, this side-by-side comparison shows not just growth over the last 2yrs, but how focused training allowed me to reshape & strengthen what was already there.
The good news is: glute growth is possible for everyone! But it requires realistic expectations & the right approach.
Glute development depends on:
👉🏼 Adequate nutrition (muscle growth requires fuel & your glutes REALLY like food)
👉🏼 Proper exercise selection & progression
👉🏼 Consistency over time
It’s also important to understand that meaningful results don’t happen in 30 days. The gluteus maximus is the largest muscle in the human body, & building it takes patience & long-term commitment.
There are many helpful resources available, but it’s essential to be discerning about what you consume online. Sustainable progress comes from education, consistency, & honesty-NOT quick fixes.
If you stay consistent, eat to support your goals, & train with intention progress WILL happen.
Happy building ladies!!! 🍑💪🏼
